June 13, 20241 yr 'Watcha Doing' would have been my first choice, but this would have been my 2nd I feel like it's a grower.
June 13, 20241 yr Whether it’s a hit or not, no idea - it’s really hard to judge post album singles now. I think we have an idea lol
June 23, 20241 yr Love this, glad it's the 4th single. I hope this does well so that they push "Happy For You" as the last single later this year.
June 28, 20241 yr Oh the highlight of the album? We all won :cheeseblock: Wonder when this'll be serviced to radio?
July 3, 20241 yr My first hearing this was from Glastonbury and it stood out in a positive way for me. Mind you not heard the album but this definitely sounded nice nonetheless so fine with it being the next single.
July 12, 2024Jul 12 It's been a month since the video was shot. I'm still holding out hope this isn't the single It had 1 of the worst boosts following Glastonbury, only reached #85 on iTunes.
July 12, 2024Jul 12 It's already out. I think they mean like when it will start impacting/when the video is out etc (or even a date for physicals)
July 12, 2024Jul 12 Well Illusion was dropped from Radio 1 today, so hopefully they are making space for the new single in the next week or two.
July 12, 2024Jul 12 Still no announcement from Dua or label yet announcing this as a single. Other album tracks are getting better daily streams than Falling Forever This is the Spotify update for 11 July: 341,074 These Walls 163,887 End Of An Era 102,769 Whatcha Doing 101,513 Happy For You 91,149 Falling Forever 62,031 Maria 60,899 French Exit 42,642 Anything For Love
July 12, 2024Jul 12 The team need to make it an official single with it's proper release date, video and physical.
July 12, 2024Jul 12 As much as I love this I think it should better serve as 5th or 6th single!!! End Of An Era it's right there and it's streaming pretty well!!!
July 12, 2024Jul 12 I think 'End of An Era' is benefiting more from being track 1, and 'These Walls' from being semi-pushed already. I'd be here for them switching it to 'Whatcha Doin' though :kink:
July 14, 2024Jul 14 I'd say Whatcha Doing could be benefiting from a combo of being earlier in the album, and also being a lyric that's featured pretty prominently in Illusion. What's that Dua Lipa song "oooh, whatcha doing?". Maybe? And yeah, Happy For You has had some prior promo, and End of an Era is track 1. So Falling Forever is easily on the backfoot there... I'm not surprised the song people were least familiar with (and therefore didn't resonate with) didn't have the biggest impact following Glasto!
July 15, 2024Jul 15 In one of Dua's recent Instagram posts, there's a clip of her riding a horse. A subtle hint to Falling Forever? View this post on Instagram Spotify commented on the post saying "Dua at golden hour on horseback in a parking lot is like the most beautiful mad libs come to life"
