I was today years old when I discovered Dario G was three lads from Cheshire rather than a bloke from Italy - and that they were named after Dario Gradi!

 

I didn't know this even after the news! The BBC article framed him as a solo act until further down than I bothered to scroll. (Appears it was only the first album that they were a group for although Wikipedia still describes the second album as being by 'electronic music trio Dario G' so something is wrong somewhere x)

Scott Rosser co-wrote and produced much of the second album but wasn't featured in the artwork or videos, so he either left before the release or chose to be in the background.

 

The BBC article is more or less accurate really, since Paul had been using the name on his own for the last 20 years.
