Welcome to Week 18 of these polls! :bronze: :silver: :gold:

Results from Week 17

A stellar field in the best poll yielded something of a surprise but deserving winner in Franz Ferdinand - Take Me Out, must have been onto something when I added them to the collage at the start of the main #3 sessions thread. The results warrant a top 5 rundown:

1 Franz Ferdinand - Take Me Out (15)

2 Keane - Somewhere Only We Know (14)

3 The Killers - Somebody Told Me (13)

4 O-Zone - Dragostea Din Tei (12)

5 Outkast - Hey Ya! (11)

There was another close finish in the worst poll as Peter Andre - Insania took 12 votes to Westlife's 11 and solo Brian & Delta duet's 10.

Best poll winners

week 1: Danny And The Juniors - At The Hop

week 2: Dusty Springfield - I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself

week 3: Otis Redding - (Sittin' On) The Dock Of The Bay

week 4: David Bowie - Life On Mars?

week 5: David Bowie - Sound And Vision

week 6: ABBA - Gimme, Gimme, Gimme (A Man After Midnight)

week 7: Tears For Fears - Mad World

week 8: Bronski Beat - Smalltown Boy

week 9: New Order - Blue Monday [1988]

week 10: Neneh Cherry - Buffalo Stance

week 11: Enigma - Return To Innocence

week 12: Faithless - Insomnia

week 13: Radiohead - Paranoid Android

week 14: The Chemical Brothers - Hey Boy Hey Girl

week 15: Darude - Sandstorm

week 16: Junior Senior - Move Your Feet

This week was something of a comedown - only The View have my vote in the best poll.

By contrast, I gave a 3-way vote in the worst to The Hoff, Gwen and Westlife (I think the other two songs there are OK).

Faves: Pump It, Voodoo Child, Promiscuous and Call the Shots.

Least fave: Jump in My Car

Gwen, Akon and BEP shouldn’t be on the worst list. :(

Faves - All Time Love, Voodoo Child, Apologise and Call The Shots. I like all of the rest there to some degree aside from 'Promiscuous' which has only ever been just alright for me.

Worst - Home. I know 'Jump In My Car' is objectively bad but I do find it quite funny personally lol.

Nelly, Guetta, Mason, Timbaland and Girls Aloud for best.

Home for worst as at least the others have some imagination.

A bit of a contrast with last week oops x Just about found five highlights though - Voodoo Child, Love Don't Let Me Go (Walking Away), Perfect (Exceeder), Apologize (sic) and Call the Shots.

Gwen and Akon for worst, Westlife are too easy and these were tough on the ears x

Voted for my top 5 this week:

01. Girls Aloud - Call The Shots

02. Timbaland presents OneRepublic - Apologize

03. David Guetta vs The Egg - Love Don't Let Me Go (Walking Away)

04. Mason vs Princess Superstar - Perfect (Exceeder)

05. Will Young - All Time Love

The Hoff for worst, incredibly naff song and video :kink:

Disappointed not to see "Almost all of them" as an option for the worst "song". It was a tough session today. At least I could spend some of my time watching the football.
Just going for my two chart-toppers here - Pump It and Call The Shots - though there were some other good ones too. Worst, Hasselhoff because I still remember being annoyed by it and I at least dont remember the Westlife and Akon ones at all. Gwen and BEP should not be in a worst of poll, though My Humps not one of their best...

Best - Call the Shots by a country mile

Worst - Home. Jump in My Car is meant to be a rubbish parody, and it works on that level IMO.

Thankfully GA will save us from awful dance winner (We already had too much from them) in this round.

Easy picks for me this week - Girls Aloud, Mason and The View for best (David Guetta just missing out x) and The Black Eyed Peas for worst.
