I haven’t ordered the new album yet. Waiting to see whether a deluxe edition is announced. I think it will reach no1 but will drop very quickly and be out of the T10 by week 2.

There are now articles appearing about Taylor's surprise album. However, she leaves or supposedly leaves so many Easter eggs it's impossible to know if it's true or not.

 

I’m probably alone in this, but I’m not bothered about Kylie getting a #1 album this time, especially if it’s going to go #1 and then drop out of the top 100 in week 2 (which I do think it might).

When the records are written at the end of the day, headline will be "Kylie's 10th number one", regardless of whether it falls to no4 or no89 the following week. Didn't both Snow Patrol and London Grammar (no 3 album) totally free fall on week 2?

I don't think the drop will be quite that extreme, although I could perhaps see it doing a 1 - 23 or something.

I'm actually a little bit worried about the sales of Tension II.

 

900+ of the CD and 200+ of the vinyl on Amazon seems rather low?

 

Taylor seems to be releasing on Friday - if true, it's bye bye for Tension II (in terms of #1)

 

But it can also be her reminding people about the tour returning...

I think most head to her website for the signed print, limited editions or to HMV for the exclusive and competition.

 

Sales won’t drop off a cliff for this.

There is also physical version of TTPD: The Anthology coming in November including 35 songs - rumour has it the 4 songs that are yet unreleased are coming to streaming on Friday, which might explain why everyone has postponed their albums lol

 

If that happens, TTPD might get a significant boost on album chart.
