Tuesday at 18:284 days Sorry! Yes, Felix is the actor's name for Ryder, that's where I was getting confused 🥲

I thiught he was called Joe or something. Don't think they've said his name once.Well if he is 30 acting as an 18 year old, he eill be the perfect replacement for Oscar tbh
Tuesday at 18:324 days I am also almost certain I’ve seen him modelling on a Tu clothing sign thing at my work lmfao
Tuesday at 18:334 days It's honestly poor writing to bring in a queer character and think the only way to give them a storyline is to give them a coming out story, especially one where they struggle. The sooner we get rid of Wadey the better tbh.
Tuesday at 19:134 days Did anyone else recognise former Emmerdale actress Anna Brecon (Lady Tara) in EastEnders as a nurse i didn't notice until i saw the creditsIn Emmerdale

Tuesday at 19:284 days Get the feeling Kellie doesn't agree with Linda being with Max and it's shining through in her actual performance. It's quite fascinating to watch really.

Ned does strike me as someone who has a lot of expectations for Ryder which would explain his lack of being forthcoming, but it just feels like a less intense Phil/Ben situation. Calling it now that Callum ends up with him once Johnny has gone lmao.
Wednesday at 21:133 days A lot of cast are playing younger than their age but Ryder looks exactly as old as his actor no matter how they style him. Why is Harvey suddenly having the same scenes that he used to have when Jean was always screeching at him? Give him something else.

She'll only come back if the next producer nixes and retcons that and makes it Ravi's. No wonder Linda quit over this crap too. 22 minutes ago, T Boy said:A lot of cast are playing younger than their age but Ryder looks exactly as old as his actor no matter how they style him.Why is Harvey suddenly having the same scenes that he used to have when Jean was always screeching at him? Avani is (and looks) mid-twenties, trying to play a teenager. Mark looks older than Vicki and yeah Oscar in no way looks 18.Then you have 30+ year old Ryder being passed off as a teen (or at least early 20's) 🤣 Edited Thursday at 09:253 days by ElectroBoy
Thursday at 14:443 days Has Ryder's age actually been acknowledged in the show? The actor is 31/32 but I think we're assuming the character's age. They haven't mentioned any of his history on that front e.g. recently left school / uni etc.
Thursday at 14:543 days Yea they've not addressed it but that comment he made to the girl in the park about the 90s kinda implied to me he's meant to have been born in the 00s so he's probs playing 22/23, I'd guess anyway

Thursday at 17:082 days It matters about Ryder because it does take me out of it. Oscar and Avani are older but I find them quite believable for people of their age. Maybe others don’t but I do. Mark doesn’t matter to me much because I think once a character hits about 30 it’s less easy to notice these things. Ned and Gemma don’t quite look old enough to have a son that looks as old as Ryder does. And if he is supposed to be 30/31 and we’ve all been assuming wrong, then the writing for a character that age is dreadful especially in 2026.
