That or he comes back to sell the pub as Stacey needs the money? That way the Vic would be sold and the Hawkins nab it.

But then Nicola + co would own The Vic, Harry's Barn, Knight Fusion and run the Arches - which seems a bit OTT

Regarding the Slaters, it would've been sensible for Stacey to do a number of things but it didn't fit the plot at the time for them not to have her give the money to Kat, despite how irresponsible it was. I'm struggling to believe who would've actually bought the Vic from the Carters/Knights other than maybe Suki but that doesn't fit the Panesar "brand".

I caught that but then thought I'd misheard so didn't bother rewinding. It's as though she said something, they didn't want to use it so edited Ria over the top?

Nice to see Callum showing up for a scene of exposition I guess. The storyline would have been much more effective had we seen Craig actually behaving this way towards a female colleague rather than just have Jack explain it to us. Jack, who caught creepy Craig texting his seventeen year old daughter just weeks ago and not joining up any dots.

I wish I'd had one of these for my Nokia back in the day.
