Like you said, neved mentioned again. But it’s silly because Kat owning the cab office all stemmed from that and it was such a huge part of her character over the last decade.

It really was dreadful writing that she’d get rid of the cab office where it probably reminds her fondly of her dad only to buy the Vic where she found what she thought was her dead baby.

Surely Zoe dying the Vic would make them want to leave it but somehow I don’t think it will.

Kathy obviously has the cab office now so at worst I’d have thought it would still be there being used as a cab, and still a way to honour Charlie and continue his legacy, but they definitely just forgot about it entirely 💀 just another layer to the shambles of them cobbling together a rushed exit for Zoe.

Its actually silly the amount of people who have died in the Vic the last 2-3 years - Keanu, Reiss, Martin, Anthony and now Zoe!

Wonder if the baby swap storyline will be mentioned in tomorrows ep - not the first time Kat has lost a child at the Vic. Obviously Tommy was actually alive in the end though - wonder if he even knows about that!?!

I don’t think Tommy knows yet. There was a great scene around the time of Kat ranting to Ronnie about how one day she will have to explain it to him.

If you view it mostly as a comedy (particularly Fridays ep) you should be fine

Kim is great this week as are the Tommy scenes.

Cindy is just ridiculous

That f**king dancing 💀

Mini Mo was the highlight of the week. ❤️

Prepare yourselves everyone, that was a very tough watch. Everyone was absolutely brilliant. Other corners of the internet are saying otherwise, but I'm not sure there's a "perfect" way to deal with a death, if anything that's where things can be a but ropey (acting wise) as it's a portrayal of how shock and grief affects everyone differently. I thought they handled it well.

For the most part it was good - Sonny Kendall was the stand out though.

I did laugh when you heard Alfie shouting 'Oh no! she's dead' and then Jasmine going in and screaming.

However, those 2 moments (and Josh) aside, it was good. Jessie Wallace was great and so was Shane Richie after the initial reaction/ lead up to it.

The Mo/ Jean scene in the toilet was well done and I liked Jean's speech too. No doubt Tommy overhearing Kat and Alfie's conversation will cause more angst/ vodka use 🤣

It felt annoying in some respects it kept cutting to Josh and Jasmine, especially as Josh clearly couldn't care less she had died.

It was better than I expected it to be

Josh even being there annoyed me and did bring down what was otherwise a good episode for the Slaters, Jasmine even I think was somewhat believable. At least we had some development between her and Zoe, Josh barely interacted with her and the actor had no idea how to even remotely play something like this so he’s just standing there blank 💀

I do like that they attempted to address why Josh didn't react like everyone else

His D grade for GCSE drama 😍

As much as I hate the Zoe death storyline, that really was an outstanding episode today. Kat, Alfie, Jean, Tommy, Mo and Lily all delivering really strong performances. Jasmine was fine but I'm still not really loving the character. Josh is the weak link and it's so obvious tearsmile

Wow that really was a harrowing watch.

Kat was obviously outstanding, but Tommy was brilliant too. He didn't have much to say, but his reactions were heartbreakingly real.

Again, an episode like this shows they can still deliver. Some excellent Slater performances-Jean is back to how she should be over the past few months, I felt for Mo losing a great grandchild which would seem like an impossibility and I knew Jasmine could deliver with her acting and was just getting very badly written.

As for Josh, dreadful. I can’t believe I thought he was alright when he first joined? This tweet sums him up.

Plus the character is very much horrid.

I do think that this is technically a fitting end for Zoe if the fully land the aftermath. I just wish she’d had more screen time in the months leading up.

Tommy was a highlight for me which is fitting given that he’s the only character who gave Zoe even the slightest bit of development the entire year she was back.

Yeah Tommy was great again in todays ep with that scene with Alfie. Think Sonny is only 16 - literally had a break to do his GSCEs (and obviously look after Lynne's dogs) and then returned for Zoe to die.

Looks like he's now a proper regular though as he seems to be credited with the adult/ main cast since his return - rather than lumped at the end with the child cast. So should feature more regularly.

Josh is absolutely excruciating, he 10000% has to leave with Oscar but that’s way too far away. That would be the one good thing to come from losing Oscar
