Must be her best NMF playlist in a while! Can't remember if even 'Padam Padam' was that high.

 

edit: 'Padam Padam' was 6th on NMF.

The song itself is a bit of a banger, but this sounds nothing like Kylie?! Very over-produced to the point that it's seriously diluted her unique sound (particularly in the chorus). Disappointing.

I agree her voice is over produced and the vocal could be anyone but I still love it and it's different for kylie in a good way and kylie is established enough to get away with it.

I don’t know where you get overproduced vocals! Sounds pretty natural, even if a bit nasal, to me. Especially feels natural after ‘My Oh My’ — now that’s where the vocals got a tad overproduced!

“This sounds nothing like Kylie” and “The vocal could be anyone” are very surprising observations to me, I don’t agree with that at all. Those nasally tones are as distinctive as ever to me!

Top 5 with potential re climbing in the days ahead would be fine for Kylie after 3 or 4 days on release.

This sounds just like her to me? That chorus has the pure essence of Kylie, and also the playfulness in the verses is totally her to a tee!

"Brat summer" has basically became a colloquialism thanks to Charli XCX.

Re the vocal, delivery sounds totally like Kylie and is produced well to fit with the songs vibe.

How is that disappointing ? I’m sure that’s the highest she has ever been.

I've got so much going on this weekend that I'm not sure I'll have the opportunity to do 10 streams a day, but I'm definitely getting mine in today! (and the downloads)
