Awesome for Fontaines, really good album too. Does anyone know what their previous album(s) sold on week 1? I'm guessing not nearly as much?

19,983 in 2022 - so a big jump!

It can’t be understated just how genuinely popular Sabrina Carpenter is rn. Every other video I see on Tik Tok atm is something to do with her album! I expected this to be around her end of the week sales as I assumed she’d do more or less similarly to Olivia - GUTS. But this has slightly exceeded even my expectations! Very deserved album. One of the most lyrically fun albums in a while and it’s just really charming and endearing! Deserved success for her.

Looks like Taste is pretty safe for #1 even if Please Please Please gets a reset.

Not particularly sure how Espresso isn't her third song tbh

Great to see Oasis potentially getting 3 albums in the Top 10 this week (if DM climbs which it should do).

Really hoping Coldplay can cling on into the Top 40. I thought this would be a Top 20 entry for them. Hope it can climb in weeks to come.

crazy sales for Sabrina, 85-90K by Friday I guess
Great top 2 album sales, especially delighted for Fontaines DC, their album is brilliant. Fantastic sales for Sabrina too even if it isn’t my cup of tea musically!
Can see Oasis getting 3,4,5 on the albums and three songs to enter the top 49 not sure which ones though

Oasis will probably overtake Chappell with Time Flies and will easily have 3 albums top 10.

Interesting to see if any of their other albums will lower down the chart.

Don't look back in anger, Live forever and Champagne supernova

Wonderwall and Supersonic have charted in the last 3 years, which breaks the new reset rule, so should remain on ACR. Supersonic charted earlier in the year when released as 7".

would be great for Champagne supernova to finally chart

Wonderwall and Supersonic have charted in the last 3 years, which breaks the new reset rule

It didn’t stop them constantly resetting Cruel Summer

Will be interesting to see how consistently the OCC apply their rules this week - might have to prep more than 3 Oasis songs just in case
'Live Forever' and 'Don't Look Back In Anger' should be safely in their top three with automatic resets. Would be fantastic to see 'Champagne Supernova' joining them to finally chart, and even 'Supersonic' getting a new peak would be quite a moment (if by some loophole its re-release earlier this year means it can be reset again), but I have a feeling they'll allow 'Wonderwall' a reset for no good reason and that'll wind up the highest of all.

Wonderwall isn’t the highest Oasis song on either Apple or Spotify currently in fairness.

There’s also a small chance that Supersonic has not had 3 weeks of decline since its reset and is still on SCR and wouldn’t need another reset

The chart performance for 'DAYS BEFORE RODEO' is really impressive! After all, it's just a 10 year-old mixtape that has been sitting on Soundcloud since release. Would be fantastic if 'Drugs You Should Try It' could chart, one of Travis' greatest ever songs

Ideally it would be nice to see Champagne Supernova chart at last.

They should have released it as a single in 96 to coincide with Knebworth.
