I guess quite a few people didn't read the instructions properly or misinterpreted the criteria. But I'm glad most figured it out at least. Can someone explain how host compensation points work as I was unable to take part? :lol:
September 4, 2024Sep 4 Don't see why the host can't take part in games like this or Family Fortunes, as long as you save your own answers before you open the quiz. Anyway, host compensation points are your average score over all the other quizzes you did take part in - so currently an average of zero :lol: - but that will hopefully change as the season goes on!

So many people including myself, kicking themselves over not simply adding a '2' to the end of their answer for the Nicki Minaj question Fwiw, I like it when a round of Pointless includes a question or two that has very limited possible answers. Aside from questions where a loophole might be left open, I see it all as pot luck no matter how many possible answers - I mean, who was expecting "All I Want For Christmas Is You" or Sabrina Carpenter to both end up as pointless answers :D
