I was expecting better than #24 for English Teacher but perhaps given it's less than 5 months old may be factoring in here, plus it had already got to #8 and its win felt low key in terms of coverage.

Hoping Fred Again can stay Top 20.

Gotta be fair to Fountains DC - a possible three weeks in the Top 20 is pretty good going in this day and age.

Hopefully nothing drops out of the Top 20 by Friday so that Elton and Abba are gone, but they'll probably crawl back in.

oh thank the LORD that moi isn't looking to outpeak genesis. i got scared cos it was a central cee song lol. RAYE's french bit at the start (first 40 secs) is a masterpiece and then she vanishes and central cee rambles on about bullsh(t for the next two minutes so its quite unlistenable lol. i was worried it would outpeak the masterpiece that is genesis but phew that doesnt look likely!
Ugh how is Red Wine Supernova still above Pink Pony Club?!
Was expecting Fred Again to do wayyyy better! The lack of physicals explains it I guess

Yeah vinyl isn't out until end of October - it's £45 on amazon so I can't see him shifting many regardless.

Seems like next week Lady Gaga should be ahead of espresso and please please please, depending how taste holds up could be a potential #1 very stable streams
Poor Kehlani straight out of the top 40

I actually hate that about ACR for some acts halves them and it’s 16 weeks in the top 15 then out 😂 just looks so ridiculous!

Physicals for Blink-182's 'One More Time... Part 2' aren't out until Jan 24th, which is why they're only back in at #65 today.
PPC has ACR applied cos it was released four years ago

This completely defeats the purpose of ACR: a track that has never charted but has finally come to public attention but is not allowed to chart as it is just marginally too old! Even old songs can have their streaming ratio reset if they’ve not charted in the past 3 years, but I checked PPC on Spotify and its best increase whilst in the top 200 was 25.1% so it might never have had a week when it increased its overall streaming by 25% (and even if it did - I assume OCC pays no attention to changes in streaming figures for songs outside the chart threshold).

Looks like Ed will hold onto his 3 weeks of holding the top 3 record as even if Please Please Please gets ahead of Linkin Park, it looks like Chappell will pass it
We won’t know how far “Die With A Smile” is behind the Top 5 but it would be incredible if “The Emptiness Machine” could hold for #5 and give Linkin Park their highest peak ever! I would like “Die With A Smile” to go Top 5 too but think it still has time.
