I’d love it if Numb re-enters the top 40 on Friday and if Chappell reduces the price of her album. £14 for a year old album?

Good Luck, Babe ideally would manage a sales increase this week and avoid ACR.

Gahhh ACR barely ever works as intended I stg.

'Stick Season' in danger of ending its Top 40 run on 49 weeks #prayforstickseason

'Red Wine Supernova' could get an unprecedented 14th new peak without going Top 20.

'Slow It Down' could get a record 18th week in the Top 20 without going Top 10.

£14 for album of the decade seems like a real bargain.

£12 seems more reasonable for a one year old album and £14 seems reasonable for a brand new album. Taylor Swift doesn’t even charge £14 for a brand new album. The most she charged was £13

what does it matter if it's 1 year old, for 99% of the GP the album is a couple months old

This isn't currently true - Taylor's The Tortured Poets Department CD is £15.99 on Amazon and HMV.

Also if you're shocked by Chappell's CDs prices, spare a thought for those who buy her album on vinyl x

It was £14 when I bought it off Amazon on the day it came out and £40 is the usual price of vinyl

So the most she charged was £13 and yet you bought it for £14?

I'm sure I've never bought a recent Taylor album for less than £14, Taylor doesn't do cheap albums so I think you picked a poor comparison. I wish CDs were cheaper too but sadly I think that sort of price is pretty standard these days. Some artists do sell them cheaper of course, particularly on release week where they want to chart as high as possible.

No it's really not

Genuinely what is the difference in a couple of quid 😭

Bryan Adams isn’t in the top 20? Even with the longest ever #1?

He only had two number ones in UK

His second was in 2000 with Chicane and spent a week at the top.

That was 16 weeks and he’s only had one other #1 so 17 weeks at the top

From this list who’s got the most #1 singles? Would it be Westlife?
