Just 5 weeks to go now and swing state polls still very close with Harris a 3 point National lead.

 

I think Trump will just edge the EC with Harris winning the popular vote.

 

Am torn as to whom I want as love Trump but also would like to see a female President before I die,

I'm leaning 60-40 towards Harris winning as to what I think will happen. I get the temptation to be pessimistic and it could easily be a loss but my gut says she has the edge.

 

Obviously personally I'm all in on Kamala's glorious victory as probably the most left-wing candidate the US has seen in my lifetime and yes that does say an awful lot.

However, I'm split 50/50 on who will actually be victorious. I'm slightly leaning Harris right now due to the national polls maybe being a more positive indicator of state performance than the states are showing right now and can defo see potential wins of 270-268, 273-265 (that would mean she would lose Pennsylvania but win Nevada & North Carolina I believe), 276-262 or even 287-251 (ala Bush v Kerry 2004)

 

I'm almost certain that another debate could've properly sealed the deal for Kamala but the Trump team were surprisingly too smart to fall for that oop

I said post-assassination attempt #1 that I thought Trump was nailed on but that was when Biden was still the competition. Now completely different circumstances - hoping that Kamala will clinch it.

Whilst I think it will be close, I think Trump will still win - mainly as his competition is a black woman and this is the US. Hopefully I'm wrong and i;m just jaded :D

In a sane world, it wouldn't even be close. However, there are a lot of Americans who would never vote Democrat and others who have bought into the Trump cult (checks spelling) which means the lying orange blob of flesh could still win.

I'll be optimistic and say Harris as I feel the momentum's with her, but I obviously wouldn't be surprised if it went the other way, Trump could literally kill a person and not lose his audience however static it is and sadly there are large swathes of the US (many of which in the swing states) that will just never vote for a vaguely progressive candidate.

 

The one thing I think that's looking more promising is that Trump doesn't have the appeal as a new, anarchic option anymore and has plateaued, Harris has managed to avoid the scandals and history that Hillary had (spoken too soon there haven't I x)

I'm still not convinced that Harris will win, as much as I want to feel sure that she will do it!!!
