“Baby Boy” was included on Beyoncé’s debut album “Dangerously In Love” and Sean Paul’s “Dutty Rock”. It had been a very successful year for both artists who had both had multi week #1s, although after debuting at #2 in October 2003 this plunged straight out of the Top 10.

Let's go Alice Deejay - snubbed by Radio 1 when they playlisted almost every Top 10 hit (and there were a lot of them in 2000) but I always liked it!

I prefer Will I Ever, and I'm glad and equally shocked to see it make the final! Such a catchy song that I was obsessed with.

It was much more of a pure pop song than their other material, and with the 'na na na na way oh' refrain, it almost makes me wonder if it was meant for Vengaboys (same producers behind both acts, and some album tracks often sounded...recycled).

Destiny’s Child / Brandy / Beyoncé

Failing that Alice Deejay!
