Jingle Bell Rock will easily overtake Tom, it's already ahead of both Buble and Ed/Elton so I can see this one reaching a new peak this year
That's not how it works in theory - songs go back to ACR immediately as soon as they hit three years - Pretty sure Perfect and Mary on a Cross both got moved to ACR midweek having been on SCR in the mids.

But they have since let songs over 3 years be reset for 3 weeks then drop back to acr, like I said OCC, ACR and consistency don't go well together

Erm your losing me wasn't a christmas song

Was it not? Now corrected.

But they have since let songs over 3 years be reset for 3 weeks then drop back to acr, like I said OCC, ACR and consistency don't go well together

Difference is those songs get reset after they become 3 years old (guessing you mean songs like Practice and Pink Pony Club) while Ed and Eltons isn't quite 3 years old yet

No was meaning Runninv up the hill , murder on the dancefloor etc

17. (N) Laufey - Winter Wonderland

This was #47 in the corresponding mids last year!

They weren't precisely at the 3 year threshold so it's impossible to make a fair comparison, we won't know for sure until the end of the week but I'd imagine the OCC won't shunt it back to ACR quite so fast.

This was #47 in the corresponding mids last year!

Couldn't find the sub top 40 part.

for me, a song like I'm in love with the shape of you [incorrect filler lyrics omitted] that's generic

I mean, I won't say the song isn't lousy but generic is the wrong word for that goofy, laboured lyric. I reckon if Perfume Genius or Caroline Polachek came up with it first and sung it in a slow reverb soaked warble, you'd have people declaring it profound, one of the songs of the year.

Surprised the isolated vocals version of Hit Me Hard and Soft isn't combined. The original album is #12. Hopefully they'll be combined come Friday.

Happy to see Linkin Park top 10 still.

Hoping "APT." might be able to grab the number 1 in the new year once Xmas is over. *_*

Pretty low sales for Taylor but should be clear #1 anyway

It's only available on her site, this Friday it's out in normal stores all around the UK,

And even with that, no it's not "pretty low".

Pretty low sales for Taylor but should be clear #1 anyway

An album 33 weeks into its run already clock up nearly 750k sales, returning to number 1 with nearly 20k sales in first update, , is pretty low sales <_< fair enough

The album cost £50 and £17 it isn't cheap. The album has been out for 8 months already. Great sales for Taylor.

Isn't that Laufey song in the movie 'Red One'?

Nice sales for Taylor! I hope my dispatches soon! :drama: Was hoping it would've done by now :drama:

EDIT: Oops! Sorry it's a different Laufey song ('Christmas Magic') that is in that movie, not 'Winter Wonderland'!

Something I'm curious about, why is the Isolated Vocals version of HMHAS not combined with the original version?

It's effectively a remix album, and the original versions aren't present!

it's actually the first proper lesbian #1 ever I think

All the Things She Said counts surely?
