June 13Jun 13 I'm amazed Homesick is platinum already, that must mean it's done ~150k this year right?

June 16Jun 16 Just now, DanielCarey said:Do you reckon there's a reason why it's not updated yet?I have no idea, I’ve not been following this thread and the weekly certifications for as long as some others, but it’s usually very prompt to update on Friday.Only time it hasn’t is on Easter Friday (or Christmas/NY falling on a Friday), so I can’t shed any light on it, especially when they posted certifications on Twitter.Someone who’s more familiar with the process may have more ideas tho.
June 16Jun 16 On the few times this has happened outside of a holiday they usually get the certifications up by Monday, no idea why this wouldn't be the case this week. Typical it happens during the certification-based rate!
June 16Jun 16 Will be interesting to see if they’re in ChartsPlus, which usually comes out late tonight.

June 17Jun 17 Wow...3 Noah Kahan tracks certified. It's like all his other songs became popular simultaneously on the back of Stick Season!Interesting to see Dolly's version of I Will Always Love You go Gold. Whitney's version seems under certified at just 2xP (last certified in 1993) considering it was a 10 weeks at Number One juggernaut of the 1990s and is still widely streamed to the current day. Has it not accumulated even 600k in almost 32 years to earn another platinum cert?

Has it not accumulated even 600k in almost 32 years to earn another platinum cert?Because they’re only tracking the post 94 sales, I think that means that if something already has a 2x platinum certification it will only go to 3x platinum on having 1.8 million of post 94 sales. So we don’t get to see those huge old hits hitting the lower download and streaming milestones.
