Billie Eilish - BIRDS OF A FEATHER (3x)

Hope this will manage 4x platinum by the end of the year! Should get a small boost soon with Billie's tour coming to the UK.

James Morrison ft. Nelly Furtado - Broken Strings (3x)

Such a great song, happy to see it does well in the streaming era going 3x platinum!

Charli xcx - 360

2nd platinum single from Brat, hopefully "Apple" & "Von Dutch" will follow soon!

Iggy Azalea ft. Jennifer Hudson - Trouble

Love this, so glad to see it going platinum after all these years.

Adele - Remedy

Great to see "Remedy" go gold. Hopefully "Sweetest Devotion" will go silver at some point so all songs on 25 are certified.

Another gold cert for Celine. wub

Linkin Park - The Emptiness Machine

That's an interesting list! From Eva Cassidy & Katie Melua - What a Wonderful World onwards, they're all charity singles. So the last "normal" #1 (without an attachment to charity) to be uncertifi

Very pleased to see 'Slow' finally get passed the Silver mark. Strange it's taken so long, it's much more of a classic than its sales would suggest and doesn't deserve to be a part of this list of #1

Certifications on the BPI website aren't even updated yet. They're usually updated by now.

I'm amazed Homesick is platinum already, that must mean it's done ~150k this year right?

Was on around 450k when it left 2024's YTD last October, probably ended the year on around 500k so I don't think it's done that much

Ah, right that makes sense - forgot that it would've accumulated a decent number of sales before the remix was released

Lorde's comeback pushing Solar Power to SIlver yay!

Still no update - very strange

Do you reckon there's a reason why it's not updated yet?

I have no idea, I’ve not been following this thread and the weekly certifications for as long as some others, but it’s usually very prompt to update on Friday.

Only time it hasn’t is on Easter Friday (or Christmas/NY falling on a Friday), so I can’t shed any light on it, especially when they posted certifications on Twitter.

Someone who’s more familiar with the process may have more ideas tho.

On the few times this has happened outside of a holiday they usually get the certifications up by Monday, no idea why this wouldn't be the case this week. Typical it happens during the certification-based rate!

The Bob Sinclar track was certified Silver in 2014, so I've put it in the Gold section.

Wow...3 Noah Kahan tracks certified. It's like all his other songs became popular simultaneously on the back of Stick Season!

Interesting to see Dolly's version of I Will Always Love You go Gold. Whitney's version seems under certified at just 2xP (last certified in 1993) considering it was a 10 weeks at Number One juggernaut of the 1990s and is still widely streamed to the current day. Has it not accumulated even 600k in almost 32 years to earn another platinum cert?

Because they’re only tracking the post 94 sales, I think that means that if something already has a 2x platinum certification it will only go to 3x platinum on having 1.8 million of post 94 sales. So we don’t get to see those huge old hits hitting the lower download and streaming milestones.

I'd say more to do with stick season the album being consistent
