UkMix have its 1984 sales as 373,898

For a second then I thought Madonna’s Human Nature was certified gold 🥲

Other new retro certifications:

Cyndi Lauper - Girls Just Want To Have Fun (3x Platinum)

343,077 pre February 1994 units + 1,800,000 post February 1994 units = 2,143,077 total chart units!

32,928 1991 units + 1,200,000 post February 1994 units = 1,232,938 total chart units!

Nice to see a few recent country songs get certified every week or so - I’ll have to make a list at some point!

Excellent to see 'Brooklyn Baby' platinum

I think that's the third Ultraviolence track certified platinum now after 'West Coast' and the title track. This era has aged so well for me. <3

Lana has been getting plenty of certifications this year!

Whitney Houston - I Will Always Love You: The Best Of Whitney Houston (2x)

Always great to see Whitney certifications. If they hadnt swiched from "the ulltimate collection" to this one, "ultimate" would probably be at 8 times platinum by now.

Great to see Bob Segar and the silver bullet band there

Also Tom Petty

But a bit Surprised by Cyndi Lauper, such an Iconic song I really thought it would be at least 7 or 8 times

Alone Again finally gold!

So with Rumi and Jinu , does that make the 2 Twice tracks the only official songs from KDH left to be certified

What a week for Olivia Dean! 3 golds and a platinum. New album will no doubt go silver next week too.

Ooh 'When I'm Sixty-Four' picking up a certification, looks like five of the Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band songs are certified now:

'A Day In The Life' - Silver

'Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds' - Gold

'Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band' - Silver

'When I'm Sixty-Four' - Silver

'With A Little Help From My Friends' - Silver

Perhaps 'She's Leaving Home' will be next one day.

I’m not the biggest fan of Robbie Williams but Go Gentle is quite pleasant. So it’s nice to see it go Silver.
