Tuesday at 01:472 days it's weirdly amusing that the Southeast Asian blocs are enjoying DtMF, too, now — my cousin and one of my friends made a story with DtMF. The last time Latin songs blew up here were Despacito (2017), Ai Se Eu Te Pego (2013), and Danza Kuduro (2011).
Tuesday at 02:002 days Got around to watching the performance… incredible.Powerful, moving and feel-good/hopeful!Great stuff. Honestly, I wouldn’t know where to have fit ‘DÁKITI’ in the context of it adding to the message he quite clearly wanted to say, so I forgive him for disregarding that, especially coz we got ‘Titi Me Pregunto’, ‘Yo Perreo Sola’ AND ‘El Apagón’!Just brilliant. So, so tempted to bite the bullet and get tickets for Summer…!
Tuesday at 08:172 days I think cinematrography wise it was absolutely beautiful - I'm just not really on board with his music (nothing to do with the languages as I adore Shakira and Anitta). There's no denying he is a star though - just wish his music was better. The Gaga arrangement didn't really work for me either but it was fun.
Tuesday at 14:242 days Just now, Jade said:'DtMF' is #1 on U.K. Spotify!! Frame this moment.UK showing a rare example of taste
Tuesday at 14:561 day Wow I've just seen how massive the Global impact is too!16.52 million (!) streams for 'DtMF' which is the biggest ever for a Spanish-language song, surpassing 'Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53' 180M+ streams for his catalogue in general 🤩
Tuesday at 15:171 day I think I should get into his music. I haven't really listened to his catalogue.
Tuesday at 18:211 day I admittedly haven't really got round to checking his work out, but I certainly will now as that was a phenomenal performance, flowed brilliantly despite multiple parts and brilliant camerawork throughout, he could've been really on the nose politically here, but I think it was more powerful without, just letting the music speak for itself and emphasising the power of a united America (listing all the countries of America was a fantastic touch).
