February 7, 2025Feb 7 I feel like female rap is often written off as almost novelty in BJSC but I'd be appreciative of more of it tbh Last month was kind of a bust for me on all fronts, I felt super stuck on an entry, went back and fourth over a few, reconfirmed etc and as much as I like Operator I wasn't really invested in it whereas this month I love my song, I heard a clip of it on tiktok a while ago, rediscovered it last week just in time for its release so it feels like a sign that this is our month to go for it! It's more low-key than our usual entries I reckon but it's stunning, it's a side of my taste I don't often showcase here as much as it is still pop. It's very reflective of the sort of stuff I'm loving right now in general actually so pls be kind xo
