Don’t really see an avenue for Chappell to get 1 but she should be favourite next week unless something new drops

Benson need go back acr soon possible

  • Album sales doing amazing this year whereas singles are falling off a cliff

  • Official Chart Update   Singles (Top 100)   01 Kendrick Lamar - Not Like Us (12,654) 02 Chappell Roan - Pink Pony Club (12,086) 03 Lady Gaga - Abracadabra (9,091) 04 Benson Boone - Beautiful

Great for Sam. Listened to his album the other day and "solid" is a very good word for it. Nothing on there that I would skip.

So surprise to see Lisa/Raye/Doja's Born Again out of the Top 40 after just two weeks. I really did think that would smash and stick around for ages.

I do really like “Pink Pony Club” but it will feel a bit odd if that becomes her first #1 on low sales when other songs (particularly “APT.”) would be ahead but for ACR.

'Good Luck, Babe' and 'HOT TO GO!' are both more iconic than 'Pink Pony Club' so it would be a shame if this became her first number one. Although I guess no one can say she doesn't deserve a #1 by this point.

I really think PPC is kinda becoming her signature hit now tbh.

From the OCC.

Sam Fender storms ahead in the race for this week’s Official Number 1 album with People Watching, already securing the biggest opening week of 2025 after just three days.  The North Shields native's third studio collection has shifted in excess of 90,000 units so far; expected to join 2019 debut Hypersonic Missiles and 2021’s Seventeen Going Under in his hat-trick of chart-topping LPs. 2022 release Live From Finsbury Park peaked at Number 17.

Should Sam manage to shift in excess of 100,000 units in his opening week, he’ll become the first British solo artist to do so since Harry Styles, with 2022’s Harry’s House.

Catch Sam performing at the 2025 BRITs this Saturday March 1, where he’s also nominated in the Artist of the Year and Best Alternative/Rock Act categories.

Did not see Sam doing 100k so pretty impressive only the elite can manage that these days

Pull through Chappel don't care if it's very low sales that get it to number 1 , it would right the wrong of GLB missing out

Looks like Pink Pony Club will make number one. I absolutely love that record at the moment.

This needs to happen! A future gay classic!

100k is pretty much guaranteed for Sam now. Amazing achievement. Shame I don't like the album much!

Absolutely brilliant to see Sam add another 10k. With missing streaming 100k looks certain. Ha'way Sam!

Same I also don't super love the album

but amazing to see someone explode in sales like this!

but I don't understand, why the report says "after 3 days"

Pink Pony Club grew to be my fave of Chappells album so here for it sneaking to #1!

Oop looks like Fontaines won't make top 40 then, shame. Surprised Oasis are still that high and "Little Bit Closer" hasn't been overtaken by "Chin Up" for Sam.
