Unfortunately it's not actually Word I'm using as I swiched to the Libre Office equivalent at the end of last month due to being asked to pay £8.49 a month to continue to use Office 365. Also is there a preview option before posting to allow me to check what way it will look? At this stage I'm thinking the easiest thing to do would be to just add links to the other forums that I post on.

What you see in the editor is actually what gets posted. Press CTRL+B on a piece of text, no more tags - it auto bolds. The same as it does in LibraOffice Write and MS WordAnything else missing we can work through together
April 26, 2025Apr 26 Problem solved! And it was actually really simple....I post the charts in three forums. As I said with the other 2 it is a matter of copying from the notepad and pasting directly to them. What I have just realised is that if I then copy the content of one of these and paste that into the thread here it is formatted as I want it to appear. It only takes a few seconds.
September 23, 2025Sep 23 I still have no idea how to post YouTube videos? Every time I copy and paste a URL from YouTube it just shows a hyperlink of the artist and song title but not the actual video.Case in point:Rossi. X Jazzy - High On Me (Official Video)
September 23, 2025Sep 23 I've found on mobile that if you press into the text box and select to "paste" the link it will appear as a video. If you paste from the clipboard directly it doesn't work and only hyperlinks. Always thought it was a me thing but it did when I upgraded my phone

If the link auto-populates from the clipboard in the suggestions bar above the keyboard then it doesn't work? (As pictured). September 25, 2025Sep 25 I found that doing what Jim suggested above worked (as it had always done for me anyway) but that if I accidentally tapped the blue globe icon in the corner that it disappeared and went back to being a link again.So maybe you tapped that blue box in the corner before accidentally and now it remembers to convert the link to text instead of an embed each time?

October 1, 2025Oct 1 I am currently struggling with Youtube embeds also — it's not been an issue before, strangely, but now they refuse to be anything other than a hyperlink The method above doesn't want to work either
October 1, 2025Oct 1 I found the same thing when hosting last month - I ended up opening up the link in youtube and then copying it over from there and it seemed to then work, no idea why
