Don’t Look Down is my favourite of the album tracks- think that should have been the single instead of camera. Feels very different for Ed

I think the point here is that the same 4 posters come in every time Ed Sheeran has a new release and say the same opinions and it’s tedious for those that aren’t biased in their opinions about him an

I would have probably released ‘Camera’ instead of ‘Old Phone’ and had ‘Symmetry’ as the single for album release week.

Even though it sounds familiar melodically, I do really like The Vow as well.

I am certainly not the world's biggest Ed Sheeran fan and spent the first ten years of his career moaning on and on and about about his omnipresence at the time. Though my thoughts kind of softened four years ago with Bad Habits and Shivers, which I actually streamed quite a bit.

However I do have to say Don't Look Down is the best thing he has ever done - even if it is more than slightly indebted to Apricots by Bicep according to my ears!

After a few listens, I would say this is his best since Divide. None of the songs hit as strong as Bad Habits/Shivers, but much more consistent an album in quality than what we have had in since then.

Its just come to me - End of the Road by Boyz II Men.

Might not mean anything but out of the whole album other than the singles he only sang , THE VOW, SYMMETRY and SLOWLY during his Tik Tok concert on 13th may or may not be an indication where the rest of the era may go

All I can say about this album is I would've preferred less songs like 'Slowly' and 'The Vow' (do I need more of these from him especially this far in his catalogue?), and more of the Persian inspired beats for more consistency.

I only liked Azizam. Will I not like the rest of the album then if I ever get to it

Depends what sort of ed you like, if you liked more of the albumwise stuff from plus or multiply you might

Symmetry and Don’t Look Down would also be upbeat in my view!
