Nobody's acting like it's doing 500k but it is making upward progress, which is a positive and promising sign that it'll go on to become a long running hit. That's all people are saying and I'm a little confused at the insistence on pushing such a negative angle!

I think Ed is doing just fine.

It must be a long way to fall from the height his chart success was at, so it's good that he's recovering from the second day drop that everyone gets and is looking to get a reasonable sized hit that might stick around for a while.

It's not like he's missing the Top 40.

What daily streams was Ordinary on at the same stage? (Yes I know Ed is a bigger name than Alex, but even the biggest songs and artists take time to establish themselves these days).

Nobody is saying it’s a blockbuster - yet - but it could become one in time, why not? It’s a summer pop hit and summer is on the way, Ed will have tricks up his sleeve, radio will eat it up etc etc…

That is since 2017 I think. Hence some early 2010s hits get "new peaks" all the time (like Pitbull recently).
