April 23, 2025Apr 23 The only thing I'm against in regards to Taylor is strategically shipping the physicals when it suits the label and causing other artists to miss out on chart toppers. Inhaler and twenty one pilots would've easily topped the charts with their albums but they decided to take the number one literally just because they could rather than wait for a quiet week. I’m not talking about pre-orders for something not yet released but copies of a single or album already on sale where they let the orders build up and then hit the dump button. That defeats the object of a chart that’s supposed to reflect demand within a given week.
