May 10May 10 It's always been quite clear to me. "GRAT" simply means that the song, on iTunes/Apple, is only available through the album pre-order and not through a separate single release. It's good to know as someone who downloads songs, so I know where to check on iTunes! It's no indicator on whether the song is a single or a promotional track, just how the song's released.

When I said "to differentiate between album track and single" all I meant was that you can purchase the track on its own, it has a single track availability, nothing to do with whether it's being treated as a single, promo single, buzz track etc. If its GRAT it's only available as part of an album and if you pre-order that album thar track would be free

May 10May 10 Why are we pressed about this of all things? 😭 (+ the fact it’s been stated they would be listed as singles if they were to go on to be…)Personally I’ve always found the way releases are tagged in the New Release Schedule helpful/in line with how I’ve always viewed them. And ultimately they’re new releases and included in the list which is what matters to me being able to use it as a tool to check and source new music.
