Spotify YTD at the End of May: That's So True still just about holding on at the top. Some bigger differences starting to emerge compared to the OCC list - Nice to Meet You (#45), The Door and Anxie

I don't even think it's necessarily true that Hot Hits isn't impactful. Sure, we're a far cry from when it may have dictated the chart to a near 1:1 replica, but it can't all just be measured in terms

Thank goodness Sabrina is coming through with a new single. Definitely going to have to be a #1 debut on the charts especially with the vinyl being released on its release week too.

There does seem to be a demand, not just on this site, for a SONG OF THE SUMMER. Which hasn't really been delivered by anyone so far. So, I think that sets Sabrina up better than a deluxe track would do.

I don't think it's a given that she debuts at #1 though purely because people haven't had the time to miss her / anticipate a new release, especially given she only started hyping it yesterday for a release in a few days.

Approaching with caution after what happened with ‘The Giver’ but fingers crossed for an ‘Espresso’-esque #1 smash from Sabrina to quash the staleness at the top

Oh I get your but at least she doing the sensible thing and releasing vinyls at same time not 6 months later

Finally someone big releasing!! hopefully it means the Ordinary reign of terror is over

She really saw everybody complaining about the lack of a song of the summer and the charts stagnation and went for it

Unless it completely misses the mark ala The Giver, I think it's a guarantee #1

The Giver sounded huge, everyone was/is just still too caught up on Pink Pony Club.

Not even a Sabrina fan, but will take pretty much anything being #1 over Ordinary.

I personally think with the giver was it was too different to what we expected from her, fantastic song though

Tbf busy woman was like im going on tour here's a few extra songs 🤣🤣 wasn't really treated proper like a single should 🤣🤣

To be fair, it was a deluxe song that had been available prior, on vinyl and digital download, so a lot of people had heard it already as it was going around on TikTok. This is a completely new track, and looks completely separate to short n sweet

Sure there's a chance that Sabrina could debut at #1 but it seems to be quite a rare feat to achieve lately, so it will all come down to the quality of the song. Hopefully it's a banger.

EDIT: Just read that she's also releasing vinyls which will definitely help the cause!

I think I'd probably rather just keep 'Ordinary' at #1 a while longer than have to endure another Sabrina #1

(I'll try and hold out some hope that this might be a less obnoxious song but 'Busy Woman' was her worst hit to date for me so she's not trending in a positive direction lol - also can't say the title of the new song is a good omen)

Busy woman was no Espresso

I totally see why it only made it to #6

She needs something better

Not sure having vinyls help much

How Many will she sell, 1k?

Sabrina’s teaser for the new single broke the record for most likes on Twitter so there’s definitely huge anticipation for new material.

3 months at #1 for Alex Warren, followed by a couple more from Sabrina...

And people want this???

Tbf she probably will sell more than that, female artists tend to sell better on the Vinyl format

any data to back this up (besides Taylor)? Does anyone have info on how previous physicals have sold for Sabrina in the UK?
