I wasn't sure which genre to put this new single in, but this new single from Brittney is more of a dancefloor orientated serve compared to her usual flair but I'm loving it all the same.

She's described this as orchestral Black dance music and it melds her incredible violin playing and vocals with frantic club beats.

So excited for this! Natural Brown Prom Queen was a great album and I'm very much loving “DEAD” at the moment. <3

The Live DJ car performance is so good.

Album is out!!

Just had my first listen and was instantly floored by 'A COMPUTER LOVE' and 'NOIRE' from the album tracks 🤩

If you're tired then put on the former for a big jolt of energy - what a ride x

It's Frieze week (my hell) and I have been listening to this all day, observing the absurdity, and it's the only thing keeping me sane.

'NOIRE' is actually nuts. One of the best-produced albums of the year — just incredible

I absolutely loved Dead but the other singles had passed me by a little bit. I still wanted to listen to the album though obvs and it completely blew me away on first couple of listens, everything sounded so much better in context and the production and variety is just such a step up in interest from her previous material - not that there's anything wrong with her earlier albums, but they don't excite me in the way that this does. Definitely one of the albums of the year *.*

I love her earlier albums and EPs but I'm lowkey scared to listen to this new one as my intuition is telling me she's going a lot more commercial or something...? Not that it's automatically a 'bad' thing but I enjoyed how unusual she sounded before. But let me not judge without listening, which I'll get to soon. 🤭

Okay, listened now lol (I very often seem to listen to Sudan Archives quite early in the morning according to my last.fm 🤔) and yeah... I don't think I'm cool enough for this lmao. I did really like 'Noire' though.

Maybe when I see her live in December it'll be different.

Sorry for triple post but like, my chats with my Italian good online friend crack me uppp

Bitch knows what she wants at least

(I could do with one of those too tbh, the other I'm more or less okay with for now) 🙃

Really enjoyed the album and researching a bit about the inspirations for it - I'm a complete sucker for heartbreak on the dancefloor, or for anything that mixes the lyrical themes of romance/break-ups with clubby hip-house and channels the intense feelings and pitfalls that occur through that recovery period and attempting to move on. “DEAD” is firmly in my favourite tracks of '25 playlist and “MY TYPE” is definitely catching up there for me. That stretch from “A BUG’S LIFE” is soo good too!
