Official Charts Report

Alex Warren enters the race for this week’s Number 1 single with new track Eternity, from his newly-released debut album You'll Be Alright, Kid.

Eternity is currently set to be this week’s highest new entry at Number 3, though there are fewer than 800 chart units between it and reigning Number 1 Dior by MK & Chrystal, plus Justin Bieber’s Daisies at Number 2.

Further down the Top 20, Disco Lines & Tinashe could claim a new peak with No Broke Boys (13), and Alex Warren could enjoy a second placing in this week’s Top 20 with Bloodline, which rebounds 16 places on the First Look (15).

Finally, another track from musical fantasy film KPop Demon Hunters could earn a Top 20 placing in the UK this week. Viral bop Your Idol by fictional group Saja Boys (Andrew Choi, Neckwav, Danny Chung, Kevin Woo and samUIL Lee) is up four places at Number 19.

The Official Chart: First Look offers a first glance of the Top 20 ahead of Friday’s Official Singles Chart Top 100. The chart is based on preliminary sales and early streaming reports.

Tbh ordinary is a love song whereas eternity is about losing parents

Looks good for Justin to overtake then, get in! This is what standing on business does for a man

Could even see Justin above by Tommorrow, depending on how it drops Tommorrow streams could even see Eternity clinging on to top 3

Could see Eternity staying at #1 for eternity unsure if it gets there.

not sure what’s worse justin bieber or new alex warren (quite literally as I’ve not listened to either song yet)

don’t suppose either will be much to my taste

Justin Bieber has one of the widest ranges between songs I really like and songs that I think are awful. Daisies is easily one of his better songs.

Even for me as a big Justin fan, I think he has the widest range in quality of my favourite artists! Many many excellent songs and when he gets it right, it's SO right, but a couple of eras have largely been misfires (Changes and Journals were much less to my taste even if they had a few songs worth keeping).

Justin is the 21st century Michael Jackson Daisies is classic Justin. Great beat. Nice voice. Smooth song. Impossible to hate it.

Looking forward to seeing how the Scissor Sisters do!

Editing in hype for the Kaiser Chiefs anniversary release too.

Why what are the Scissors releasing?

I don't think this week will end up being close - given they'll be so much missing data from the first set of info, I can see DAISIES comfortably taking the top spot.
