Defo too big of an ask as Man I Need is miles ahead on streaming but RAYE also has 7” singles shipping from Monday so 👀

She was also the highest new entry on Global Spotify at #48 with 2.1M streams (#120 US too)

Great to see "Post Sex Clarity" getting a decent debut on spotify with "One Thing" & "d£aler" re-entering! Should hopefully see "d£aler" back in the top 40 with the album boost and maybe even "Post Sex Clarity" standing a chance?

Also great debut for RAYE! I saw her at All Points East and she was SO good. Really looking forward to the album - I really need the studio version of "I Know You're Hurting", amazing song live *_*

Raye has physicals but only a vinyl at £5 but I'd imagine she's sold quite a few as they're so cheap. Anne Marie could get a top 40 this week given so many songs above are all on ACR (As long it sticks around for a bit)

Spotify debuts for the first two singles from the previous Capaldi era compared to the current one:

'Forget Me' - #1 515k

'Pointless' - #18 270k

'Survive' - #3 409k

'Something In The Heavens' - #17 250k

So that seems like an ok enough debut for the new song (only a small drop from the debut numbers of his last second single, and it has actually debuted a place higher although tbf 'Pointless' was a December release so it had a lot of Christmas songs ahead of it). Of course 'Pointless' was only a #1 because of that absurd physical push and was otherwise just a top 20 hit with decent although erratic longevity.

I think it will be a huge ask to get ahead of man I need/golden for Lewis even with huge physicals it will still be too much of an ask IMO, he’s miles behind on streaming and he will inevitably have a second day drop tomorrow well out the top 20 on Spotify

So he doing similar to last era, people having random lofty expecting again then, did think this would happen as it didnt have the first single in over a year hype of survive

Yeah he realised loads of cds straight after christmas fell back down to 18 or 19 week after something along those lines , basically a pointless non event number 1

Pointless' wacky chart run is responsible for the signed CDs not counting for the singles chart I believe?

Lewis Capaldi needs lots of fake cassettes to do it next Friday then.

He would need to match or come very close to the first week overall numbers of 'Survive' to even be in contention for #1 this week so given the streaming is looking to be a lot lower that means he'd have to find a way to sell even more pure sales. Not impossible but I don't think it's likely. Would predict a #3 debut.
