TLOAS will probably do alright without a push anyway with people wanting to check it out because of the sabrina collab

Interesting considering the album itself cant be longer than 45 minutes max (length of a vinyl) so the film being almost twice as long

We're not only getting the music video, we're getting behind-the-scenes footage of the making of, cut by cut explanation of the inspiration behind the songs and seemingly the lyric videos to the album.

Hearing this album with proper, cinema sound? I'm excited tbh.

By the sound of it its a cinematic version of longpondsessions that she did for folklore so its definitely more than just lyric videos

Yeah I know it has extra stuff but I feel visualisers would be a better cinema experience. I just don't get it as a film to put in the cinema I guess.

This is nice but not quite the big pop smash I was hoping for!

Also this reminds me of Demi Lovato's "Give Your Heart A Break" at times in the chorus.

Its not a bad song , it definitely feels weakest if her lead singles and i would of personally gone with TLOAS, it gonna do well week 1 regardless

Honestly I think this is the best choice for the lead single. It’s catchy enough, easy to listen to, either this or opalite were the best options.

Guess I was wrong, I get why this is the lead single but its far from the best off the album. Title track still needs to be a single, I stand by that

This isn't as good as people think it is.

First, the lyrics are clunky as hell. "You light the match to watch it blow" You don't light a match and watch it blow - you light a fuse and watch it blow. And this one "Pledge allegiance to your hands, your team, your vibes" is just cringe as hell.

Then there's the melody in the verses. It's like she's missing some syllables so just draws out some awkward words. And again in the main chorus, it's like she's trying to fit words to a melody, but it's the sonic equivalent of putting a square peg in a round hole. The first line of the chorus just doesn't work.

And then we have another Lana rip where the bridge sounds like the prechorus of Dark Paradise. There's also similarities with Summertime Sadness.

The only good bit is the post chorus (when you don't listen to the lyrics).

I was ready to like this because we've been starved for years of melodic, catchy, straight up pop songs. I think that's why the initial reaction has been quite positive but if you scratch at the surface, it's pretty terrible.

I love the music video 🥰, it is here best video to date.
