Ru seems to have taken a real liking to Coral, I'm surprised Flesh wasn't in the top 2 after the critiques.

Another simple runway from Naya, she's not giving me winner energy yet.

I am fully on the KY hate train now, I haven’t liked her for a while but WOOOW she was horrible this week. Just so desperate to pick a fight and then play the victim card and start being extremely hypocritical

She’s so Elle Vosque to me, technically good at most things but just no spark there and nothing you get excited by.

Feels like she needs more time to figure out who she is and then she’ll fly but for now I’m not feeling it 100%

Honestly I couldn't even summon the energy to feel sorry for Mocha in that argument because none of them came out looking good. Mocha just wanted to be the main character again and KY is just... rotten.

(also lowkey thought Coral's runway was pretty weak compared to all the others (minus Alik), but maybe just me )

Living for Rupaul bringing up this drama on stage and then KY saying that this was not needed to be brought up, as if it was everyone else’s fault. But she refers to herself in third person so it also makes sense.

I also thought Flesh would be pushed to the top 2.

I don’t see anyone but Coral or Mocha winning. Coral is probably the safest bet, she has not come even close to stumbling yet for me. I think next week will make it a bit clearer.

I was baffled by Flesh not being top 2, when it was the first time she’s shown any versatility

So happy Naya finally got a win!! I wouldn’t say she was robbed of any wins prior, but her potential has always been there, she’s definitely the one who intrigues me the most out of the whole cast along with Mocha. I will say, Flesh also has really come into her own and shown that she’s got more dimensions to her than I initially thought.

If it's a top 3 finale this season, I can definitely see all 3 of them being there.

Sksksksk I cannot explain what it is like to watch a friend as come out of a TV show as a villain, it is kinda wild every Thursday.

I maintain two things though - and I acknowledge some bias in both of these - that I couldn’t place a single notable thing in the personalities of Flesh, Alik or Coral and I think the series would be very dull going forward without KY in it.

And I also think KY coming across so badly is a result of the queens’ average age (with her taken out of it) being 26. TWENTY SIX. She’s 42 - and having spent years in dressing rooms in Birmingham with cabaret bast*rds - the things she said to Paris and Mocha are light work but it’s just not part of drag these days to throw shit back and forth with one another. Look at the way they all sunk into the sofa during the argument.

KY’s approach and stubbornness is an issue but it’s highlighted as being worse than it is because of the timidness in the way drag has become. We used to pray for times like this with the golden era of Phi Phi and Roxxxy but now we reject it?

Mocha to win regardless but I think that’s part of what made the last episode great and compelling TV. You know KY’s not gonna win and Mocha probably will go on to do so, so the narrative is complete and we got entertainment in the process.

I thought it would've been a great season like 2 or 6, but it's on par with 3 and 7.

I still think it’s much better than 3 & 7! But I would place it firmly 6th.

They have ran into the exact same problem as 7 though, unfortunately, where the most entertaining personalities were not good enough at the actual challenges and the ones who have stayed are better at the challenges but kinda dull. KY aside but most people hate her so that’s not necessarily a saving grace for them.

I’m still tuning in week after week. With Season 7, I was catching up on Saturdays some weeks cos I just couldn’t be arsed.

I’m also not sure what was dumpster fire about that episode. The winner was correct, the bottom 2 was correct and the lip sync winner was correct.

I definitely would put this above 7 and 3 too, I’d just say that no one is really wowing me the same way no one last year wowed me either, while 6 had so many I felt more passionately about - if only La Voix went on 7 and Marmalade went on this season!

The winner was correct but I’ve absolutely have had KY in the bottom instead of Coral, that was ridiculous when the makeover was so good and it’s not like the outfits were a messy design challenge, they had an artistic angle which was maximalist but so interesting, KY’s were just pink and brat green plain cuts - the make-up was definitely on par though! Alek was definitely the worst, the outfits, especially her own were rough.

Both Flesh’s and Alek’s dads were also absolute sweethearts! All family members were super lovely actually!

6 > 2 > 5 > 1 > 4 > 8 > 3 > 7
