It was played on Radio 2 an hour ago, but I’ve not heard it yet!

  • EX! EM! EY! ESS! It's a bop.

  • Got the CD and Gold 7” I NEED a change for Christmas number 1 this year and she really could do it with help from Amazon. Hopefully are team are ready with the remixes etc on release week to!

  • The Amazon packages say Vinyl and CD album inc XMAS. that is just the song though? It not including the single cd/vinyl is it?

XMAS is super catchy and reminds me of the 80s tension tracks but with the Christmas dial set to max.

Just listened through BBC Sounds and it’s a BOP! A bit 80s, the chorus is definitely a sing-along / chant. One play and that’s stuck in my head.

I’m usually a bah humbug in November but I may find it hard to resist this one until December.

We shall absolutely allow Alexa to scam harder than ever before with this one x

Note: the song title is pronounced by saying the individual letters.

So it’s all being released via Parlophone - I thought that it would have been transferred to BMG!

Here for their co-ordinated approach to the release though.

Kylie getting another #1 single, and a Christmas #1 at that, would be so wild! I don’t want to jinx it…

I know Amazon/Alexa’s push of these Original songs and how well they do in the chart is often frowned on… and I get it… but it’s hard not to suddenly feel a bit better about it now that it’s Kylie who stands to benefit from it. kink

Heard it now, it's very fun and jolly and won't sound out of place on Alexa for sure.

I don't think I've heard any other Christmas song spell out the letter X M A S, so there's something unique about it at least.

Anything to not be Mariah or wham every year and we know its not gonna clogging the charts every year 🙌

I don’t care if Amazon push it to death, I can’t have another year with Wham! At number 1…

Anyone know if the MP3 download is also being held back for Christmas week? It's currently greyed out on Amazon.

Just listened to it, I like the jolly vibe of it. Quite 80s sounding with a similar tempo to 'Take On Me' and plenty of bells, although it's a bit too repetitive with X-M-A-S being spelled out 100 times.

I think for what it's worth Kylie Christmas had much worse tracks on it (although some much better too)

i am already repeatedly singing X M A S though so thats good for instant catchiness.
