If you don't follow the Christmas charts and how Amazon exclusives work you won't really understand what we're saying. Amazon heavily auto play the Amazon Christmas Exclusive (For instance when someone says Alexa play Christmas songs - It will usually Play the Exclusive twice in every 10 christmas songs if not more) Sadly it's just playlists that help the exclusive rather than people seeking it out to play (It's basically artificial streams like most playlists)

She'll definitely be top 10 easily without downloads / physicals but to stand at chance at a Christmas number 1 she needs to be pulling in the same streaming numbers as Tom / Sam Ryder / Katy / Jess Glynne etc at the very least.

Kylie has a great fanbase as we know so if she's say number 1 /2 in the first midweeks sales flash (Which most of the Exclusives have been) it will assemble the fanbase to download and buy all the physicals they can which will massively help trying to secure her the Christmas number 1.

Yeah, it's practically impossible for this to miss the top 5, but its best shot at being #1 is most likely the chart published on Boxing Day, because Amazon will report its numbers instead of OCC just guessing them.

The best outcome would of course be TWO weeks at #1.

Yep it’s best chance for number 1 is for the chart covering 19-25th December. Hopefully the Alexa spam will be so high for the 25th so it’ll be more worthwhile than the estimated Spotify streams…which itself is just ridiculous but there’s no way that can be avoided.

It has a decent chance of Christmas number 1 the week before but will need the physicals and downloads.

Of course if it underperforms or the Alexa effect is less strong then a high peak and sales is the next best. It’s all a big con anyway.

This - I said it before but it feels like a hollow victory, obviously over the moon that Kylie is going to get another hit but nowhere near as excited as I was for Padam and Tension.

Alexa will make this a hit regardless of if fans rally behind it or not.

I’m more looking forward to seeing if we can get the album to the top.

She is going to be singing it on Strictly and Jinglebell Ball + probably other promo too that week so many people will just think it is selling well rather than Alexa haha

If you were to get a free Amazon music trial would the streams we do on there count towards the chart? Seen that there’s a 4 month trial can get, tempted to get it to help stream if it counts 😂

Yes they count as premium streams :)

That’s a good hold so the streams are flowing strongly. Hopefully this week it’ll hold or improve its numbers via Amazon.

Yes they do (as already mentioned) - have seen links posted in all the Kylie fan groups encouraging people to take out free trials to stream (I’m done the same).

Id say from now on it will be full steam ahead from Kylie and the team and good to see them making more use of the social media accounts to promote it.

While in a different way i never thought we would be in for another padam padam chart moment again so soon and again Kylie showing she can still get a hit every now and then.
