It's not like the usual chart like above the Christmas charts are much different and more playlist heavy as people are home / at christmas parties, putting up their decorations etc and will just say 'Alexa play Christmas songs'

I’m aware of all the theories but I still think there’s some number fudging going on. I don’t care if they are if it gets Kylie a #1 frankly lol but I’ll never believe any of these Amazon exclusives numbers are legitimate

This seems like it's struggling a bit now which is a shame. I think both Sam and Tom were in the top 10 on Amazon at this point. Still at 18 which is odd given the higher playlisting.

I dont know if this good or not, but I'm sort of over this song already, I prefer Hot in December and I wonder if the release of those other songs are taking away from this?

I think this. People now have XMAS on CD/Vinyl also so there's a fair few lost streams to the album in general. Hopefully next week is fully XMAS mode again with the video / Promo etc..

I'm sure we will have lot of 59p downloads on her site etc from 12th and Amazon + she has promo coming up tomorrow and next weekend etc and also video streams to count from 12th. We will probably be even able to download video for 99p too etc

Don't you think the Amazon exclusive mixes things up a bit though? Especially the last 2 weeks before Christmas it would pretty much be the same top 3/4 christmas songs year in year out so it doesn make things a bit more exciting because you never really know how an Amazon exclusive is doing until the mids come in.

She'll be top 5 easy! I'm desperate for her to get the number 1 because it's probably the only chance she'll ever have of another number 1 single let alone a Christmas number 1.

I really hope they do a Taylor and release 6/7 mixes we can all download because I don't think she'll make it without a crazy number of downloads.

Yeah it's the download frenzy that will massively help if she's first look number 1 (The Amazon exclusives are usually either 1 or 2 in the first look chart) so I'm hoping as the physicals will be added she'll be number 1 and then it will spur on a flurry of downloads / physical sales (Hopefully!)

what i mean is you are not going to get last minute passive fans buying 2000 19.99 vinyls lol but you might get 2000 buying a 59p download lol

• more versions can get more streams also lol while Alexa does her thing seperately

I feel exactly the same, they need to throw everything they have at this, kylie is an extremely clever woman and I'm sure she is aware that this is likely her final shot whilst alive to get another number 1 single so fingers crossed they go for it with multiple remixes etc as the fanbase is there to support it.
