Posted Sunday at 13:513 days This has been on Greatest Hits Radio over the past 2 days. Top 20 is on the OCC site, will have to listen back to find out the rest."Greatest Hits Radio has partnered with the Official Charts Company to present the Top 100 Most Streamed Songs of 2025 from the 70s, 80s and 90s. And whilst the Gallagher brothers might have dominated the news headlines this summer it's another band who have taken top spot in this chart.Iris from the Goo Goo Dolls is at Number 1 - a song originally released in 1998 but finding a new lease of life in 2025 thanks to TikTok and an appearance in smash hit movie Deadpool & Wolverine.Lead vocalist from the band, John Rzeznik said: "It's official - 2025's most streamed song of the 70s, 80s, and 90s is our song, Iris. Who would have thought? After all these years. I want to thank Greatest Hits Radio for that and the Official Charts Company for this amazing chart, which is great. Merry Christmas, happy New Year, happy holidays to everybody. Hopefully we'll get to see you soon."Guitarist Robbie Takac said: "This is unbelievable, man! Thanks so much to Greatest Hits Radio and the Official Charts Company for this amazing opportunity and to all of our fans and listeners everywhere we salute you and we wish you a Merry Christmas, happy holidays and all the best in 2026."Oasis do have two songs in the Top 10 with Wonderwall and Don't Look Back in Anger coming in at Numbers eight and nine respectively. Fleetwood Mac beat the Manchester band though with three songs in the Top 10: Dreams, Everywhere and The Chain and Go Your Own Way just missed out at Number 11.And it was 70s music that proved most popular with eight songs from the chart having been releases in 1977, just ahead of 1997 with seven hits. Overall the 80s came out on top with 37 tracks versus 35 from the 1990s and 28 from the 1970s.Bands dominated the top 100 taking 71 of the spots, 23 went to male solo artists and just 6 to female singers. Whitney Houston is the highest placed artist - in fact the only female in the Top 30 with I Wanna Dance With Somebody at Number 30."IRIS GOO GOO DOLLSDREAMS FLEETWOOD MACEVERYWHERE FLEETWOOD MACCREEP RADIOHEADDON'T STOP BELIEVIN' JOURNEYTHE CHAIN FLEETWOOD MACEVERY BREATH YOU TAKE POLICEWONDERWALL OASISDON'T LOOK BACK IN ANGER OASISEVERYBODY WANTS TO RULE THE WORLD TEARS FOR FEARSGO YOUR OWN WAY FLEETWOOD MACSUMMER OF 69 BRYAN ADAMSBITTER SWEET SYMPHONY VERVEZOMBIE CRANBERRIESBILLIE JEAN MICHAEL JACKSONDANCING IN THE DARK BRUCE SPRINGSTEENSMELLS LIKE TEEN SPIRIT NIRVANADON'T STOP ME NOW QUEENLINGER CRANBERRIESTHUNDERSTRUCK AC/DC Edited Sunday at 13:523 days by gasman449

Sunday at 14:003 days Wow at Silver Springs being that high. As always with these lists Christmas songs seem to be excluded

Was looking forward to seeing where it landed for YE chart purposes
Sunday at 16:043 days My expectations of the OCC are extremely low so doesn’t surprise me it’s been missed.Would guess it’s in the 15-25 section
Sunday at 18:513 days Delighted and surprised to see The Cranberries doing so well - and Fleetwood Mac having great success even with songs like ‘Silver Springs’ and ‘Landslide’.
Sunday at 18:543 days Poor brave skipped Mazzy Star! Brilliant to see 'Fade Into You' resonating so much in the streaming era after only getting to #48 originally.

Monday at 10:162 days Pretty much slipped backwardLike A Prayer made a huge jump because of the Movie
Tuesday at 13:461 day Surprising that the Beatles 1970 song Let It Be did not make the Top 100.After all it is now Platinum 2X - and that must include many streaming sales (since 2015).
Tuesday at 13:511 day Great to see 'Scar Tissue' the top RHCP song (unless 'Under The Bridge' is also missing by mistake), 'Losing My Religion' doing well, and The Smiths here twice too. Boo at them skipping Jeff Buckley as well, guess they think their audience aren't the ones streaming those skipped tracks.
Tuesday at 13:571 day Lover, You Should’ve Come Over being 7 minutes long might have also contributed to the decision

Tuesday at 15:161 day How is Whitney the highest placing artist when Bryan Adams is #12 and MJ and Bruce just behind? Unless they forgot the word "female".Surprised that Summer of 69 is the most streamed song by a solo artist anyway.
