January 28Jan 28 Gawdland had my #1 talent show, but Fontana did the best in the top 2 lip sync. Kate was also very good. A comedy song that was actually funny!
January 28Jan 28 I thought Gawdland won the lipsync but they were always going to give it to the Swede in front of Loreen unless it was completely unjustifiable.I would've had Sminty and Gawdland as top 2 as I didn't care for Fontana's outfit.Nobody really flopped but Melinda, who I suspect misunderstood the challenge prompt and deliberately prepared a Eurovision-esque song rather than a 'this is me' number.
January 28Jan 28 I would have maybe had Naomy or Sminty at the top instead of Fontana personally but those 3, Kate, Serena and Gawdland all ate. Fontana did have the most Eurovision song and decorated the performance as well. Naomy and Sminty really did great at translating their brand and Kate had bags of personality plus her vocal was great, she knew her strengths and used them. Gawdland had the gaggiest performance and was definitely the winner of the lipsync for me but I will never complain at a Fontana win.Loved this premiere, I think this works better than a normal talent show as a premiere because they know everyone is doing a song and I think they’ll then put more into making their song stand out? With a normal talent show I feel like you get a lot of easy safe lipsyncs, and it was a good way to introduce what the queens are about.Mariah and Melinda bottom 2 episode 1 would have been a gag but both did flounder a bit oops.

February 4Feb 4 Author Lowkey glad Melinda's gone for my sanity. Thought it was gonna end up being Naomy (and probably would've been with lipsticks). Liking the format change, feels correct with such a strong line-up having Ru calling the shots instead of any potential disasters like Pangina in season 1 xMinty being in the bottom and not Kate was a major wtf though!!
February 5Feb 5 I’m not fussed that Melinda went first, she can’t just coast by on having an iconic moment a few years ago and happening to come from a series that is more watched/known than the non Ru girls and she did badly two episodes in a row, she wasn’t bringing it sadly. I’m glad to see more of Naomy, she’s so camp. I love that the most random queen possible is brought back and grabbing the chance by the horns the way she is. Gawdland ate that UP, I’d have had Zahirah in the top over Mariah and possibly Sminty over Fontana but I did love what Fontana did with what she had.Snatch Game will be interesting, a lot of this cast either didn’t even get to SG or did terribly. Gawdland and Kate are the only ones who were in the top on their season and I hated Kate’s personally. Fontana’s Britney Spears on her season was also quite possibly one of the worst Snatch Games that placed safe I’ve ever seen
February 6Feb 6 It's a shame to lose Melinda but she really did sew herself up. She was bad in week 1, then in this week she didn't recreate the dress in the challenge despite having such a background in fashion that she'd been to fashion school, and then didn't learn the words to the lipsync. She made her own bed.

Minty’s first look was also brilliant even though her second was rather shapeless, I don’t think either of them warranted a place in the bottom quite like Kate/Serena who had two pretty naff looks.Absolutely loving Gawdland, Fontana and the glow up of Sminty so far! Zahirah I think needs more time, so hopefully we see more of an improvement coming.

Scrap this awful UK vs The World & bring on UK All Stars, because this is the 3rd dire series in a row of this UK format & I bet yet another UK queen will win, my guess it will be Kate Butch, coz Zahira is the obvious villain & hasn't shined yet and will probably go within the next couple of weeks. Sminty Drop has done well so far, but don't rate her chances with the girl group episode.

Minty's Unicorn was dire, but pretty much all of them were apart from Gawdland and Sminty imo lol.I am so, so sick of Kate at this point too. She really thinks she's come back this time reinvented into the best thing to ever come from UK drag when she couldn't be any further from it and just has such an unwarranted air of smugness about her.

February 11Feb 11 I think Kate is better off the show than on, her dry humour is fantastic in her own lane and she’s great at stand up and singing in her own shows, but that doesn’t always translate to the parameters of Drag Race. I do really like her but I do hope it’s not just another case of a fan fave being casted just to be set up to win. Of course we have the rest of a season to go but so far if she wins, it will feel like they really will only let UK queens win. But to be fair to her she hasn’t been handed wins or top placements, I think she’s been judged fairly so far other than maybe she could have been in the bottom last week over Minty but then so could Serena, and the actual bottom 2 were clearly the 2 worst. I do think a lot of the time, the more known/fan fave queens don’t relish the opportunity the way others do, like they know they are cast to do well. Look at the spark Gawdland has, how much Fontana wanted to stay, how hard Naomy has rammed into every challenge and result showed her personality. I want to see more of that from Kate, I mean a queen with a mind as witty as hers and she chose to do f***ing Humpty Dumpty for Snatch Game?
