Or is that only for songs younger than 3 years?If a song is older than 3 years, even if it has never charted before, it is automatically on ACR. There are always cases of songs debuting for the first time after a slow climb despite being over three years old, and never being on SCR. For example The Chain by Fleetwood Mac has never charted on SCR. Landslide only charted because it had an increase of more than 25% which pushed it into the top 40. And looking at today’s chart, it is touch and go whether Landslide has escaped ACR. Whereas most of the songs on the chart are falling, it has managed to be a non-mover. But whether its streaming sales have increased or decreased overall, it’s difficult to say. On Spotify, its increase in stream was mostly towards the end of the week including Thursday.
