Seeing as 2016 is being romanticized on social media, this is the playlist from 10 years ago this week! (Which I originally posted, wow I feel old) A List 99 Souls feat. Destiny's Child & Brandy

As far as we're aware they are still playing what's serviced to them by the record label essentially meaning they are singles.

  • Wow that is very nostalgic indeed! 'Broken Arrows' and 'Broken Flowers' added the same week *.* I remember actual 99 Souls posted a thread on here about 'The Girl Is Mine' before it was a hit

'Midnight Sun' back on then! I'm guessing it's the label's decision to re-push it, and a sensible one.

Surprised to see them A-list Royel Otis.

13 weeks for 'Stateside' is quite frankly ridiculous at this point.

Pleased to see those three songs move to the A-list, but yes I’m surprised at Royel Otis. That Sub Focus song is such a tune.

Shame ’Talk of the Town’ is off. I know ‘Stateside’ is only starting to get big now, but 13 weeks (or 14 really with the two week playlist) is mad.

Quite the run for 'Stateside' indeed. I guess it's only just become a top 40 hit and the video came out yesterday, so can see why they're keeping it around.

Great to see 'Midnight Sun' back on the playlist cheer Zara was on to something with "summer isn't over yet".

Need to re-listen to Moody, but for me the bangers of the album were Who's Your Boyfriend and Say Something. Quite surprised that it pops up now half year after the album. Can't Deny it is quite generic dance song. Why don't they bring in Choosin' Texas?

‘who’s your boyfriend’ did get seven weeks on the playlist, but didn’t make the A-list. I agree it’s better than ‘moody’.

I’d be here for ‘say something’ getting a push after they’re done with ‘moody’.

As much as I can’t stand Lush Life, I’m glad it helped Midnight Sun get a big boost and get playlisted

That’s funny because I hadn’t been particularly impressed by anything of theirs until this point but I absolutely love moody.

Great to see Zara back on the playlist again with Midnight Sun. There’s some very very long runners on there now so hopefully there’s a clear out soon!

Same, 'Moody' is absolutely my favourite by them!

When was A$AP Rocky last on?

Must have been a while.

2018 since he was playlisted as a lead artist. He did have a feature with Slowthai which was A-listed in 2021 but even that's a while ago!

They were top 5 on the Sound Of so makes sense to playlist something into the new year.

Good to see a couple of dance bangers make it up to the A List this week, I like ‘Stateside’ and I know it’s only now starting to smash but it doesn’t need that long of a run it’s ridiculous! I’m hoping (and assuming) ‘Midnight Sun’ will go C-B-A rather than going C-C-C like the first time round. Also ‘pokemon’ is my favourite Wet Leg song ever so I’m glad to see it get a decent A List run!
