Massive numbers for "Aperture". And the fact the track is over 5 minutes makes it something special in the streaming era.

Tbf it takes 46 seconds before you even hear Harry, and you only need to stream 30 seconds of a song to count people could be switching off halfway through 😅

I think Arctic Monkeys dropping out has to be an error? There's surely no way they got 250k streams in their first 9 hours and then less than 83k streams in the first full 24 hours after that (with New Music Friday and whatnot).

Number 67 is missing from the global chart. Could be Arctic Monkeys. Doesn’t explain the UK chart tho

Will they be reinstated to the Spotify chart once the error is corrected and/or will yesterday's streams count towards the chart even if missing from Spotify's daily chart due to an error?

I think following ‘Easy on Me’ and the album it was from it may be a slight comedown but then the hype built from half a decade waiting could mean it debuts hugely so hard to know.

I don't think Spotify ever edits charts after posting them. Will just see if it pops up again tomorrow.

Great streaming numbers for Harry (12.5M globally)! I don't think it can hold that level though.

Even more impressive that it outdid As It Was given the length of the track, which in theory could reduce some repeat plays! I'm not sure what to expect tomorrow, As It Was dropped around 400k to 846k day 2, think this could see a bigger drop given the less commercial nature but hopefully I'll be surprised.

Also wondering if there's been precedent of this before, and what happened? Did OCC somehow find out the actual streams, or use estimated streams, or just treat it as zero streams?
