Feel like that would be a bit more interesting/relevant in this particular case since literally the only other comparable single on that list is 'Easy On Me' (and I guess 'The Fate Of Ophelia' and 'Fortnight' but even then those two were released alongside the full album).Think you have to go pretty far down as both TTPD and Midnights are also dominant on that list 🤣

(So only including the highest track (TFOO) for Taylor etc..)OK let's shift the goalposts for Taylor Top 10 first day UK Spotify totals (where available for more than 12 hours, max. one per lead artist per day):2,801,638 | 15/10/2021 | Adele - Easy On Me2,267,587 | 03/10/2025 | Taylor Swift - The Fate of Ophelia1,675,220 | 19/04/2024 | Taylor Swift feat. Post Malone - Fortnight1,557,996 | 23/01/2026 | Harry Styles - Aperture1,277,470 | 06/01/2017 | Ed Sheeran - Shape Of You1,265,147 | 02/06/2023 | Dave & Central Cee - Sprinter1,247,683 | 01/04/2022 | Harry Styles - As It Was1,180,436 | 10/05/2019 | Ed Sheeran & Justin Bieber - I Don't Care1,159,687 | 21/10/2022 | Taylor Swift - Anti-Hero1,119,709 | 10/05/2024 | Post Malone (feat. Morgan Wallen) - I Had Some Help(edited to remove 'Castle On The Hill' as on the same day as 'Shape Of You')And if we want to go for max. one per lead artist at any time, we would add 'Girls Want Girls', 'Who Told You' and 'No Time To Die' from the only other three artists who have debuted with over a million.
Saturday at 15:003 days Thanks - so it was very close between the top 3/4 debut days for artists not named Adele or Taylor Swift before but Harry now joining those two in being well in front of the pack
Saturday at 15:043 days Massive numbers for "Aperture". And the fact the track is over 5 minutes makes it something special in the streaming era.
Saturday at 15:143 days Considering Taylor does it with whole albums it would be interesting to see what numbers she would get if she went back to releasing a lead single first 😮Crazy that only a handful of artist can do it nowadays even Ed cant anymore, so Adeles new one would be interesting 8 minutes ago, Juan Carlos said:Massive numbers for "Aperture". Saturday at 15:153 days Glad Harry has had such a big day 1 but very frustrated the Arctics are out - why can't they pick a normal release date?
Saturday at 15:263 days I think Arctic Monkeys dropping out has to be an error? There's surely no way they got 250k streams in their first 9 hours and then less than 83k streams in the first full 24 hours after that (with New Music Friday and whatnot).
Saturday at 15:283 days Number 67 is missing from the global chart. Could be Arctic Monkeys. Doesn’t explain the UK chart tho
Saturday at 15:333 days Will they be reinstated to the Spotify chart once the error is corrected and/or will yesterday's streams count towards the chart even if missing from Spotify's daily chart due to an error?

Saturday at 15:403 days I don't think Spotify ever edits charts after posting them. Will just see if it pops up again tomorrow.
Saturday at 15:423 days Songs dropping out incorrectly isn’t unheard of. “Too Sweet” dropped out for a day in its release week
Saturday at 15:513 days Will the streams still count for the chart? I don't know where the OCC gets their data from, do they just pull it from the daily charts same as us on here?
Saturday at 16:123 days Great streaming numbers for Harry (12.5M globally)! I don't think it can hold that level though.
Saturday at 16:203 days Even more impressive that it outdid As It Was given the length of the track, which in theory could reduce some repeat plays! I'm not sure what to expect tomorrow, As It Was dropped around 400k to 846k day 2, think this could see a bigger drop given the less commercial nature but hopefully I'll be surprised.

Saturday at 17:093 days Interesting that “Matilda” is now the 2nd favourite track from “Harry’s House”.

Did OCC somehow find out the actual streams, or use estimated streams, or just treat it as zero streams?
