  • Surely we don’t really think the charts should be dictated by a few gays aged 30-50 having a bit of fun instead of by what the country is listening to… I know many of us are in that demographic but re

Official Charts Report

Harry Styles is storming towards his third UK Number 1 single with Aperture.

The lead single from his fourth studio album KISS ALL THE TIME. DISCO, OCCASIONALLY, Aperture looks to follow in the footsteps of Harry’s other chart toppers, Sign of the Times (2017) and As It Was (2022).

Last week’s Number 1 Raindance by Dave and Tems drops one place midweek (2), while former chart-topper End of Beginning by Djo rounds out the Top 3 (3).

Arctic Monkeys are on the cusp of a seventh UK Top 10 single with Opening Night, currently at Number 9. The track – taken from War Child’s upcoming charity record HELP(2) – could mark the Sheffield band’s first Top 10 hit since Why’d You Only Call Me When You’re High reached Number 8 in August 2013.

Into its 15th week on chart, dance anthem Think About Us by Australian producer Sonny Fodera, British DJ D.O.D. and pop vocalist Poppy Baskcomb could reach a new high this week (17).

Further down in the Top 40, we could see new entries for fred again.. & Young Thug with Scared (26) and M Huncho with Championship (37).

Victoria Beckham for #1!

To be honest i like her. Of course, to make it into the official Top 100 it needs more than 5,000 sales. Otherwise, she also needs streaming numbers, which unfortunately she doesn’t have.

Expecting Harry to be no1 this week, though I’m not so sure he’ll hold on to it the way as it was did, it’s not one I think is very commercial, but we shall see! It’s nice to have a January where there’s turnover at the top and some decent competition for the number one

She did nearly 4k last week with only half a week, plus she has been appearing low on apple music the last few days, the press constantly post in how it was a "sales" number 1 as well should definitely go top 100 this week, maybe even top 10 on tonight's first look

Yes I think she has a great chance of having a decent position in the first look chart but whether she will chart on Friday I'm not sure of.

VB coming for that first look smash please - also still holding on at #1 on the iTunes Charts and video chart.

She’s showed up on the Apple streaming chart and her listeners have gone from 20k to 170k+ on Spotify so not out of the question she might sneak a Top 100 on Friday (give us a reset request Virgin Records - reason: Gay Icon / Family Drama).

Plus you know the fans etc are gonna be posting, probably even the OCC if it makes the first look which will encourage more people

I’d actually scream if Posh is #1 this evening. I may have to tune in especially. kink

She’s always been the most underrated Spice so I’m glad her music is getting some love finally. wub Sadly not Let Your Head Go or This Groove though 😭

The OCC will be chomping at the bit to wheel a story out “Posh Spice challenges for official #1” etc even when they know come Friday she’ll be #97 🤣

I'd be shocked Harry's friday streams were humongous she'd need triple (probably more) what she sold last week to beat that

Hopefully streaming data is delayed. 😎

Usually on Saturdays they'll have Fridays 🤣

If by some fluke VB is at #2 behind Harry it’ll send the media in to overdrive that she’s ‘challenging’ HS for #1 which will generate some sales

I'm not sure it'd be possible for a song to fall that far from the top end of the First Look chart even if it sold absolutely nothing for the rest of the week!

I reckon there's a fairly decent chance V-Beckz does make the top 40 this week.
