Surprised not to see Dave at number 1! He was ahead on most streaming platforms - though we never really know what is going on at Amazon.

For a Dave track (massive caveat) this is quite good.

I was doing some spotify playlists and I was suprised to see I'd heard and liked a Tems track before, Essence by Wizkid

Official Charts Report

Noah Kahan is eyeing his second Number 1 single, as The Great Divide takes an early lead in this week’s Official Chart First Look.

Marking his first solo return after almost three years, the release of The Great Divide will also be the title track of the American’s newest album, dropping on Friday 24 April.

Kahan earned his maiden Number 1 back in 2023, when the universally recognised Stick Season topped the charts for seven consecutive weeks.

Therefore, Aperture from Harry Styles begins the week at Number 2; but don’t rule out a comeback from the birthday boy just yet.

Bruce Springsteen’s stoic protest song Streets of Minneapolis (18) is on course for a strong finish, the first time we could see the legendary musician back in the Top 20 since Secret Garden back in 1997.

The Boys Don’t Cry resurgence may seemingly continue for The Cure, with the hit track on course to climb 16 places to a new peak (20).

Elsewhere, Die With A Smile from Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars looks to re-climb, currently up seven (23) while two tunes, What It Sounds Like (26) and How It’s Done (27) from KPop Demon Hunters HUNTR/X, are both tracking to ascend 11 spots each.

New boyband December 10, formed on the Netflix TV talent show Simon Cowell: The Next Act may see their debut single Run My Way entering the Top 40 at the first time of asking (32).

Country singer-songwriter Ella Langley is eyeing an Official Singles Chart Top 40 debut, as Choosin’ Texas looks to put itself into contention, up 18 at this moment in time (33).

And finally, a track aching to break the Top 40 in David Guetta’s Gone Gone Gone featuring Teddy Swims and Tones and I, could leap an astonishing 36 positions (36).

Noah has slipped hard on Spotify. Need to see how far he is ahead.

Hope by some miracle Noah can stay number one but it's very unlikely.

Noah was ahead by some distance on Spotify for Friday though

Aah amazing to see Noah at #1 today, even though he’s not gonna hold it this week I don’t think. Would love if he did though, it’s an incredible song and I’m loving the fast number one turnover

Can't see Noah holding onto that No 1 spot. Wonder if Opening Night by Arctic Monkeys has managed to stay Top 40 on it's 2nd week.

I expected high for Noah but didn't think number 1 but hopefully he can do it.

Nice to Bruce Springsteen so high even though it will probably be lucky to be top 75 by the end of week.

I like the Noah Kahan track but it just sounds like the type of track Spotify feeds you after its finished a Ben Howard album.

Is that Simon Cowell Netflix show worth watching or is it just a rehash of The X Factor?

Noah won't have the #01 this week.

Raindance for sure will have it once again.

ne 33 Ella Langley - Choosin' Texas

I wonder how high this can get? I like it better than those recent songs by Luke Combs and Zach Bryan.

I think Noah might drop as the week progresses. He's already fallen to #10 on Spotify from Saturday's streams.

Odd that Gone Gone Gone keeps showing up during the early part of the week but falls a lot by the chart day.

Absolutely chuffed to see "Boys Don't Cry" as high up as it is. Hard to believe it's never been a top 20 hit, I hope it hangs in there and gives them a new peak.
