Surprised The Weeknd didn't put up more of a fight, but like I said earlier, Lay All Your Love On Me is an incredible piece. Few songs can touch it. I think it could have beaten every song in this entire round apart from potentially Since U Been Gone.

Erasure really got close, but that is by far my favourite single from them and I'm definitely intrigued about what more is to come from Bowie.

Rosalía did really well to get that close to Chappell indeed.

Tbf if I were in the mix (which I may be ) I’d want an extra two chances of reclaiming a spot so I’d say yes to the slight altering to the rules.

6/12 finalists being groups here is proof of what we’ve all been saying about the groups being the toughest competitors. I’d never have predicted that category to bring it so hard every week but it’s been awful losing anyone from that category over the weeks. It’d be cool for the returner to be from that category.

I’m most sad about Conan and Twigs going home there so I’m hoping they make great choices in the next round so they’re in with a chance of saving. Both artists are underrated but have been doing a great job of showing off their best and managing to compete against some real heavy hitters.

Kesha vs Kelly was hardest choice so I’m surprised to see it was such a landslide. I went for Kelly but I got to hear TikTok over the weekend live and it’s also such a 10/10.

Lily Allen vs Haim is the biggest shocker for me. It seems like a real David vs Goliath on paper so the latter has done well to survive that. Good weekend for Alana Haim between surviving this and featuring in last night’s Best Picture winners at the Oscar’s.

I expect Lily Allen to come back in the next round though and still be in with a good chance of winning, probably against Kelly Clarkson in a finale. I’m betting on her to outlast her competitor here.

Oh and I like making discoveries so I’m happy to have more than one comeback. That’s my vote.

I reckon having 3 'wildcards' would be good - and then double eliminations is alright - will make the 'lives' more tense

3 highest vote-getters is fair and square, and have everyone vote for their Top 3 choices (unless there is a different voting format already in place by Calum, and we shall find out tomorrow)!!!

A: Three winners (the top 3 of a combined vote of 23 artists), increasing Live Shows to 15 artists, more (aka all) double eliminations

B: Three winners (the top-scoring artist of separated votes by category; granted this is not really weighted well among all three categories), same outcome for Live Shows as above

C: Three winners (the top-scoring artist from each category of a combined vote of 23 artists; not the fairest way but an alternative), same outcome for Live Shows as above

D: Keep things as they are just now, we don't stand with Bror

(I will slap anyone that suggests another option is added into the mix just fyi xx)

(none of the above is an issue for me, I'm more than happy for more artists to be able to keep showcasing more songs, just want a majority from everybody before changing. The controversies section of the Encyclopedia needs to remain as small as possible )

Had to suffer going to see Voyage last year. Was a painful experience…barring when the live band played Does Your Mother Know

This seems the fairest. I think the Battleground round as fun and dramatic as it is can really wipe out some promising talent (unjustly in some cases!) so would be nice to have some more wildcards.

3 highest voters is just easy and fair at this point!!!

If the 12 were originally divided by 4 from each category, then it would have made sense to add 1 each for the next round as well, but that's not the case!!!

With that being said, I am voting for Option A!!!

I would say one of each category for fair representation, but given the make up of the live shows is already unbalanced, I think option A is probably the only option at this stage.

Option A seems good to me x (and I'd like to think that I would think this regardless of whether or not I have a conflict of interest here - genuinely just think it seems possible that there are multiple acts who lost their duels here who have more prospect of a deeper run in the remaining rounds than some of those that got through).
