It is criminal that George and Toni have been sent home with two of the most regarded songs of all time!!! I am trying to understand but I just cant LOL!!! The sent winner worthy songs and could not even reach the live shows - 🤨

Where were all the 'lost without you' fans this round?

There is zero RNB, SOUL, MOTOWN in the live shows.

I will continue to vote and support but even Blondie did not make it :(

I voted for both George and Toni, definitely two of the strongest songs there!I I love Blondie too but didn’t vote for Call Me not my fave Blondie song but it was close to getting 1 point would have been my 6th choice

'Heart of Glass', which I now wish I'd selected for Platinum Paije instead of holding it back for later, but hindsight is of course a beautiful thing x

George and Blondie got my 5 and 4 points in the Paige round. It is a shame the retro fans now only have Bowie and ABBA really to cheer.

I don’t think they could have done much better than “Careless Whisper” and “Call Me” respectively, certainly for the Pop Factor audience. The question is whether they could have won the original battles with those songs, but even then “Whole Again” and “Maneater” are pretty tough to beat.

I do think “Save Your Tears” might well have got The Weeknd through the Paige round but we’ll never know.

'Heart Of Glass' would have quite easily trumped 'Amazing' for me! In fact I think 'Heart Of Glass' is so iconic that it would have beaten anything by George, with the possible exception of 'Freedom' - that would have been a very close battle for me!

I Feel It Coming is his best for me. I gave it 3 in that round, with Eric Saade 4, Ace of Base 2 and George Michael 1, so not exactly a banner result, however my top pointer did make it.

Nik Kershaw, Toni Braxton and Blondie plus the other two artists that made it through were next in line for me, but so tough really. All songs involved in my votes and near misses are fantastic.

Nothing would have stopped Life Is A Flower getting my +5, shame we never got that delight from Ace of Base AKA my go to 'cheer me up' song!
