April 20Apr 20 Expected final 3 really, but they were my own top 3 so well done all!Scissor Sisters had a really good run to get this far, it's reminded me of just how many great songs they have. I didn't think this one was the best pick, I'd have preferred Comfortably Numb or I Can't Decide, but a great run of songs and especially impressive given they were one point away from leaving in Live Show 1!That is pretty cool that Conan was co-mentored, definitely the real surprise package of the contest, I wasn't really aware of him at all before and several of these (particularly from the Found Heaven album) were really good. Extremely impressive for an act that has much more limited commercial success than a lot here, farewell to the twinks x

April 20Apr 20 So sad to see both those acts but they have done so well to get to the first part of the final, Conan Gray ofc I have been loving and honestly been loving Scissor Sisters a lot more than I have ever done I mean i already liked them but this contest has made me really want to go through their discography. Thank you Jay/Electro Boy and Awardinary for doing amazing work in pop factor.

April 20Apr 20 Firstly, well done to @awardinary, you did an excellent job with Scissor Sisters! A highlight of their run for me was being introduced to 'Invisible Light'. I enjoyed being reminded of their many fantastic singles; ultimate favourites of mine being 'Only the Horses' and 'Take Your Mama'. Love and appreciation to @Calum for all his effort in making this competition what it is, it's been bigger and even better than last year! It’s been a lot of fun to take part in this. I’m already anticipating Season 3, but before thinking too far ahead… good luck to ABBA, Kelly Clarkson and Lily Allen in the final! It’s really been a pleasure teaming up with @ElectroBoy! We worked well together and I think we ended up with a solid run of songs, seeing us all the way to 4th place. In the first Pop Factor I sent Louise, so this year I wanted to go with a different category than the females. To the males! Troye Sivan was my first pick, but he was selected by @Tafty before I’d got around to filling in the form! (I would definitely have sent 'HEAVEN' in the ballads round too 💔). My next idea was Conan. Having been a fan of his since 2020 (his debut album era - and of course it was @JosephStyles who introduced me to him! Eternally grateful xx), I felt passionate about him, and also anticipated that he would be an interesting challenge in this contest. I knew going into this that not a lot of BuzzJack members were too familiar with him. What better way to get him on people's radar than through The Pop Factor? I can’t say that my expectations were too high (regarding how far Conan would progress in the competition) but what I was hopeful for, was that even a few people would enjoy his songs. Every positive comment posted about him was lovely, and it took a lot of restraint to not reply or -react to those posts, in an attempt to remain anonymous! But a belated to all of those posts! By the battle round, Conan had already far exceeded how well I thought he would do. When he lost in that round, I was quite content with his run. Then the opportunity to come back happened. @ElectroBoy felt passionate about ‘Alley Rose’ in this moment, which proved to be an excellent decision. We were both completely shocked that he came Top 3 in that! From there on out, every round has felt like a bonus. Then each time he made it through, we were continually amazed! Making it to the final and finishing Top 5 is wonderful, so thanks to everyone who made that possible and I'm so glad that there's many of you who enjoyed certain Conan songs. It didn’t go unnoticed that song choices from his album ‘Found Heaven’ went down very well in particular. If we’d made it the Top 3, our final song choice was to be… ‘Winner’! We were manifesting a winning outcome with that title. Thanks again everybody! Hopefully see some of you around in Conan’s threads, whenever he next has music out. Maybe we should re-do the singles rate…

Great choice from Jay to send Conan in the first place, and more importantly, glad to see you back with us ❤️ I was convinced Scene was the Scissor Sisters' mentor, colour me surprised! Well played Wardy for showcasing some of their songs I wasn't too familiar with as well as their hits.I'm 99.9% sure of the mentors for the final 3 acts, and if my earlier predictions were correct, I could see a double win being on the cards! Very intrigued to find out what songs they send now.

I must admit, for the first time in the season I really couldn't decide my final two entries, but going for "I Can't Decide" didn't really seem that smart for a grand final. Ultimately I don't think anything would have topped the three female lead artists that made it.I was going to say more but perhaps this is all I feel like saying for now but congrats to the final three on a deserved run and to Conan for some inspired choices too.@DaTilt your favourite song choice would have come next if I had the chance to progress; I had no hesitation choosing my artist for this season and thank you @Calum for putting this event together for us all.

April 20Apr 20 Massive well done to Wardy, Jay and ElectroBoy - you all played superbly with your acts! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼❤️Wardy - I can’t really fault your run of songs (even if I inevitably didn’t love all of them but the ones I didn’t love I could totally get the rationale). So pleased you managed to steer the Scissors ship to 5th. To think we nearly lost you/them after the first live show!Jay and ElectroBoy - thank you both for placing Conan on my radar. Some really amazing finds from him and he’s one I’ll be checking out for new releases after this contest. Love the fact you ended up working together - maybe if there’s an overflow of interested members for S3 some of us could team up? ABBA, Kelly and Lily are a really formidable top 3 though. Not sure which way it’ll go tbh.
