Well I’m out; thanks everyone who supported the Kittens!

I got much further than I ever anticipated. I initially tried to put forward Kelly Clarkson but someone had already beat me to it so I chose the Kittens very quickly with not much thought at all and then pretty much winged it every week as I’m not even their biggest fan tbh 😂

Genuinely was shocked every week that they got through, I did play it pretty safe with mainly singles but that’s cause I don’t know a huge amount of their album tracks, actually realised I liked them a lot more than I thought.

Anyways very happy with 6th place. I was planning on sending Its Ok and Someone Like Me next week if I’d got through!

Also well done to gooddelta, love me some Delta, definitely need a listen through of her discography asap

Amazing game plays from both gooddelta and Lukuzz! I never would have had either of them getting this far but a job bloody well done! The last song from Delta was nice, but the song in the last round was an insanely nice discovery!

I’m so glad Atomic Kitten got to play ‘You Are’ in a round. What a beaut! I love them a lot, so it was nice to revisit their catalogue again!

Strong final 5. Really excited to see where Conan and Scissor Sisters finish because I didn’t expect either of them to get anywhere near this far. Scissors I expected the live shows but not quite final but Conan being the sole male was not on my bingo card! But I’m so grateful coz I am a FAN now and I can’t wait for this to be over so I can listen to his albums and discography more (I haven’t done it sooner coz I have enjoyed discovering the tracks I didn’t already know!)

I think Scissor Sisters could potentially push ABBA and Kelly closer than we think… they have ‘I Don’t Feel Like Dancing’ AND ‘Comfortably Numb’ still left to play and I feel like they’re both popular on here.

Going to be an interesting final. Lily and Conan can just as easily surprise too. Song choice is KEY!

In the first series my only goal was to burn through the 6 Addison singles and maybe a few album tracks if I got lucky, so there wasn't much to take away.

However, this time has been a real learning curve with a larger discography. In the future I'll try and be less afraid to go all out when the moment calls for it!

(and also hope to not be up against a behemoth like 'Maneater' thx)

Great choices! Sorry to say but I think Heart of Glass would have been an unbeatable winner had it got there. A behemoth in itself. ❤️
