Playing the full top 40 would be a total slog every week - there's nowhere near enough movement for that to happen nowadays.

I remember those days. I once got a shoutout from Reggie Yates when he did it.

Exactly. It keeps being spoken about as if it's some kind of L for Harry to have not held up, when he made a conscious decision to release a fairly commercially inaccessible track that's 5 minutes lon

Can't think of any other songs that were SCR midweek and ACR om Friday, weird!

Something similar happened with 'Merry Christmas' and long before that 'Perfect', but those had something to do with turning 3 years old.

Sooner the better its getting silly now when almost half the chart is old reset songs 😅

Ironically if ACR wasn't a thing a lot of the songs reset wouldn't be entering!

What You Saying is basically just Golden Brown, but the tempo is jacked up!

I can't unhear this now 😂 just makes this song even goofier

I'm basically just 48 seconds later in the runtime of the chart due to the internet connection, so please forgive me if I'm not in sync with the rest of you.

I read that as Gordon Brown 🤣

Don't think he had a rap track!

Probably more listening to the chart show than your average Radio 1 show.

You don’t remember his collab with JLS in the comic relief sketch? ;)

Like many would-be singers, Sienna Spiro has put in work interpreting songs on social media with her own soul-pop affected voice. Unlike most, though, that work has paid off into a sudden burst of success, including the minor U.K. hit “Maybe.” and the debut EP Sink Now, Swim Later. - Apple Music

In all seriousness a while back a 90 odd year old bloke got a shoutout on the chart show and said he'd been listening for decades - wonder if he's still listening and if he's still alive.

"Choosin' Texas" is massive in America. It's currently challenging "Man I Need" for #1 over there.

I'd choose Texas over Man I Need anytime. So fed up with the latter.

I don't think "MAYBE." will join the top 40 unless there's a massive clearout of the songs above it.
