It was being actively promoted in my local HMV but I just assumed it was an old release being spotlighted. It's actually had a CD and vinyl reissue this week!

Official Charts Report

After securing his maiden Number 1 single on Friday, Sam Fender’s Rein Me In with Olivia Dean eyes a second week in a row at the top.

Nominated for Song of the Year at the BRIT Awards 2026 the track in question, which also became an Official Chart Record holder for most consecutive weeks in the Top 40 before reaching Number 1 last week, is looking to retain its crown.

The Top 3 currently remains the same, with Dean’s So Easy (To Fall In Love) (2) and Lush Life from Zara Larsson (3) lingering closely behind. Can either pip Rein Me In at the top?

Taylor Swift’s former chart-topper Opalite aims to climb back into the Top 5, up four at this present moment (4).

It could be a Top 10 finish for Milky and Just The Way You Are, the first time the hit has reached these heights since its peak in 2002 as the Mall Grab remix of the song continues its incredible run of form (10).

Running up the chart! Boyband December 10, who were formed on Netflix talent show Simon Cowell: The Next Act could find their debut single Run My Way break the Top 40 for the very first time (13), with the seven lads simultaneously concluding their UK and Ireland live shows today.

Elsewhere, fresh from earning her third Number 1 album, Charli xcx’s Chains of Love from Wuthering Heights is on course for a new peak currently ascending five positions (12).

Bella Kay’s rise has seemingly come from nowhere, with the Texan-born star tracking for a first Top 20 with iloveitiloveitiloveit (20) as fellow American singer Ella Langley’s tune Choosin’ Texas aims to rise up the standings (32).

Originally being released as a bonus track on their last album Breach in 2025, Twenty One Pilots and Drag Path has been re-released as a single with a fresh music video to accompany it. The song currently finds itself at Number 22 as a result.

British folk-rock outfit Mumford & Sons are eyeing a sixth Top 40 accolade with Badlands (34) from their new project, Prizefighter.

And finally, Lana Del Rey’s return could result in a Top 40 finish with her fresh title, White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter (37).

Interested to see where Leigh-Anne’s album lands this week, she has signings etc and it has been reduced to £3.99 on iTunes so that should encourage fans to buy a digital copy.

Someone on Twitter says she’s currently “Top 4” so I’ll take that as #4 😂

Wonder if she can hold up or inevitably fall as the week goes on.

Edit: That someone on Twitter being Leigh-Anne herself 😭😂

Top 4 after 1 day with months of preorders isn't necessarily a good thing 😅

Although mumfords and sons and U2 gonna be easily above regardless 😅

Not sure U2 will be - it’s just a digitally released EP. There aren’t any physicals.

#4 this early is potentially not great - she’s pushing the £3.99 download and has some signings, expecting a drop in price for the CD too.

4 is good for her right now but it means she will have to fight hard all week to secure a top 10 on Friday.

The first (unpublished) midweeks basically contain no streaming data so that suggests she's only the 4th highest physical selling new release. Not sure who else is likely to be ahead besides Mumford & Sons?

Interesting to see if Brat will make a climb up the album chart following the Charli XCX mockumentary? Saying that, her Wuthering Heights album could stabilise seeing as the film is still doing well

The Enemy/Elvis would be my guess.

Expecting Sombr to escape number 7. Maybe even number 6!

I wonder if Kate Bush’s ‘Wuthering Heights’ can be reset this week (and potentially top 40 again?)

Just hit the top 100 on Spotify for the first time (#79, +32) and is sitting #135 on Apple.

We live in hope that it gets a reset and doesn’t end up like the chain has been!

#4 for Leigh-Anne is a decent enough start. I guess it’ll come down to the lead she’d have over the albums which stream well.
