March 3Mar 3 Author I'd like to see Wales, Albania, Kosovo, and Ireland win these, but think it will be Wales, Poland, Turkey, and Denmark.
March 3Mar 3 Voted for Italy to qualify and Ireland to lose. I have a season ticket for Ireland so fully expecting them to be beat by a Patrick Schick brace in Prague or more likely for us beat on penalties but if they somehow win will be going to the final in Dublin the following Tuesday 🤞
March 3Mar 3 I think Italy will make it this time to the World Cup and I think it will be Denmark that qualify from Path D instead of Republic of Ireland.
March 3Mar 3 I want Wales, Poland, Romania and Ireland to qualify.I think Italy, Poland, Turkey and Denmark will qualify.
Thursday at 19:292 days Tonight has the potential to be one of the most engrossing evenings of football for many a year. There are eight World Cup play-off semi-finals across Europe which determine who plays who on the 31st March to get to the World Cup. You’ve got 🇮🇪 Republic of Ireland travelling to Prague to take on 🇨🇿 Czech Republic with the dream of a first World Cup appearance in 24 years there to be grabbed. 🏴 Wales hosting 🇧🇦 Bosnia & Herzegovina with Craig Bellamy hoping to improve his fine record of 8 wins in 16 games as national team boss in front of their own fans and keep the dream of making it to a third ever World Cup alive. Northern Ireland travel to Bergamo to face 🇮🇹 Italy with the hosts desperate not to make it three straight World Cups without their participation. It’s a true David v Goliath game for Michael O’Neill and his players. 🇹🇷 Turkey host 🇷🇴 Romania in Istanbul at 5pm. The atmosphere will be incredible because… It’s Turkey playing in Istanbul in an all-or-nothing World Cup play-off match. There’s also 🇩🇰 Denmark v 🇲🇰 North Macedonia, 🇵🇱 Poland v 🇦🇱 Albania, 🇸🇰 Slovakia v 🇽🇰 Kosovo & 🇺🇦 Ukraine v 🇸🇪 Sweden in Spain, with all games other than Turkey’s (5pm) kicking off at 7:45pm.
Thursday at 20:002 days Turkey are the first semi-final winners then! Certainly some interesting games to come - will Italy fall at the first hurdle again?
Friday at 07:572 days Author All of those results were absolutely brutal. Sorry to the Brits and Irish. Also devastated for Albania after getting the lead.Kosovo the underdogs now.
