Wednesday at 20:523 days Since I last commented... thank you Pavel for the silver medal 🥰 plus DaTilt, Rollo and Harry for further points!Congratulations Rollo I was looking forward to hearing more from Archive based on what I already knew and this certainly delivered, got 9 from me.The only way was down after topping the first scoreboard so will take 14th, that's a fine placing.I hoped 'Mary Boone' would perform well when I saw the song list so I'm glad it did finish top 10 for Terra, both that and 'Capricorn' were particular highlights from the accompanying album. My favourite discovery was courtesy of Summericia (was bound to stan from artist name alone tbh) so I'm delighted to see that on the podium. Very well deserved and a great winner for this spin off, not an obvious victor.The alt bloc came out fighting in fact with pop picking up scraps.Well done also to @Ansel, @pavi,@Bror and @Roba. - had a feeling the latter would be a top five as it was very striking. And iconic to see a Mario Kart song in second. I’m very happy with 31st, as I expected last - thanks to the late votes from Till and Leww. I know it’s a bit of a kitsch song but it really is an emotionally charged moment in the film (probably sounds a bit naff out of context if you haven’t seen it) and I wanted to use the theme to send something that actually meant something within the plot of the film.Lookylion was my favourite discovery - what a beauty, I have it on repeat! Wednesday at 21:083 days Collapse/Collide is actually the first track in a five song suite that makes up Part 2 of the album Controlling Crowds Parts 1-3. The word "collide" continues on a loop for the first two and a half minutes of the next track, 'Clones', so I would recommend listening to the whole album to hear the song in its context. 'Bullets', which I entered to BJSC 99, is the second track on Part 1 of the same album which is also a five song suite.
